Had an outstanding experience at Coco Republic Chadstone! Asshur was able to help us with exactly what we required and seemed to have an extensive level of knowledge and understanding of the products they sell!

After reading all of the negative reviews I have to add my own experience. I was apprehensive given all the negative reviews but my experience thus far with Matthew from the Chadstone store has been nothing short of exceptional. I was concerned about the delays but Matthew has kept us informed, even on his days off he has responded to emails from me. Our table and chairs arrived today Thankyou Matthew, credit where credit is due, your service is exceptional.

Polina at Coco's Chadstone store was incredibly helpful and informative when we purchased our homewares. She took care to ensure we received the best available offers and personally oversaw our delivery process. We highly recommend visiting Polina for an extra level of care.

I had an amazing experience with one of the men working, I’m moving house end of year and he was really helpful and genuinely really thoughtful of everything I needed. He knew I wasn’t purchasing right there and then but he still went above and beyond to assist me. I will definitely be returning for Asshur to help me furnish my house once I begin my move!

If you visit, ask for Asshur. He was the most helpful person I could’ve asked for. His product knowledge and creative input was the help I didn’t know I needed. Very well spoken and patient with all my questions.

THE WORST! Don’t expect any kind of repair or refund for faulty product and do not get delivery! This is where your world of pain will start. Head office customer service is a merry go round of deliberate nonsense. Worst ever! Buy from Trit House. 10x better quality and normal customer service!

I bought a Sofa online on and received an email that the purchase was successful. One month later, I received an email that the item is discontinued. Its unbelievable how this company sell discontinued sofa and keeps people's money and then after 1 month realise that the item was discontinued. Finally I got my money back on May after 3 months. I was keep calling them and the only response was that the request for refund is sitting with a manager for approval! Extremely poor customer service.

I bought items worth approx 10k in Oct 2022 with the promise of delivery with in 17 weeks. I called up few times call center agent confirmed delivery of items on 25th Feb 2023.

I called up their call center again to follow up, now agent is not sure of delivery date, assume it would be end of March 2023. Each time I request to escalate to a manager to talk they would keep on on hold for hours without ever connecting the call.

Last call I made 12: 59pm 24th Feb 2023.
Very bad customer service, I will try to stay away from this company.

They have really nice furniture and you can get a smile out of the staff. One needs to be prepared for delays but that’s quite understandable with niche items. I probably wouldn’t buy items as Christmas gifts as Santa most likely won’t get them on time. They have very nice crafts folk who can help fix items that you’re concerned about. Couriers are also really nice. All in all, good things come for those that wait I guess.

Bought an occasional chair from coco republic sometime back still on back order, not picked up.
Now on Boxing Day the price has gone down and Joseph so called store manager fro lm chadstone store turned out to be at most rude and arrogant. Upon request for refunding the difference he kept insisting to cancel the order and asking us to pay 20% cancellation fee and hung up the phone. Very rude and blunt on talking not ready hear customer point of view. Very arrogant behaviour.
Had just asked to price match current promotion as when purchasing time sales staff did mention the price won’t go down and have us a satisfactory answer. Though it’s matter of $85 but very bad customer experiences. Will never go again.

Horrible company. Promised delivery in 4 weeks which would have been late November. Needed it for Xmas but still waiting in mid Jan. Also told to order as Sale was finishing, only for that sale to be immediately replaced by a bigger sale. Have complained but can’t get a response.

So far a horrible experince with Coco. I ordered an "in stock" outdoor dining table and chairs in Nov. It took weeks for them to arrange delivery in the first place and when they came out the table was faulty. A redelivery of another table was arranged only for it to have the same fault as the first one. It's now been almost 2 weeks and I've got a huge concrete dining top just sitting on my deck while I've had nothing arranged to come and simply provide the "screws" that were "missing". So many layers of bureaucracy at Coco with no one seemingly knowing what is going on. For a company that sells at a premium they don't have the service to back it.

DO NOT USE COCO REPUBLIC! Coco Republic is the worst company I have dealt with. I bought a bar cabinet back in Feb 22. It was meant to be delivered in a few weeks. When it was meant to be delivered I got a call saying the cabinet had come back faulty by the manufacturer. They could offer it as a temporary one while they get a new one made. I agreed to this. Months passed and I had to follow up multiple times. No comms from Coco Republic. Eventually got an update that the second cabinet was also faulty by the manufacturer. This was 8 months after the order was made, with no view on when I would get a non-faulty cabinet. I had just had enough of dealing with them and decided to cancel the order. The process to get my refund has been horrible. They were quick to collect the temporary cabinet but I still don’t have my refund back. It’s been weeks and now I have to call again and deal with them. I can go on forever how bad they are, no comms with their delivery teams as well - no one knows what they are doing. Stay away!

When you spend and fly business qantas, it makes everything so worth it, staff is super friendly and the flight is worth it. Unfortunately coco republic is that expensive business class where you the air hostess is forever grumpy even though you paid premium for that ticket (rude disinterested staff), and it makes you just regret having spent so much even though the furniture looks good or feels good.
Hopefully the people that need to read this, do! And train their staff better. They treat customers with unbelievable attitude, even though you’ve spent more than 10k in the store. After sales service is truely sad, and don’t even bother emailing for any help or before/after sales assistance, it’s like a talking to a PMSing teenager.
To all the other creative ppl out there, guys open your own lines we need better places to shop at!

It is not my habit to write bad reviews but here, I have no choice but doing it.

We are from Europe, like nice design and were looking for furniture for our new place. Our real estate agent referred us to Coco Republic and we were in contact with the Chadstone's store. Unfortunately our experience with them just lasted for a few days.

1) If the design is fine and the realisation of basic pieces ok, some parts of the furniture, and in particular doors, are poorly engineered. It is disappointing to find Ikea style hinges on furniture that cost 10 times the price of Ikea.

2) Delays are huge. Most of choices require more than 4 months before delivery. Guys, your delays are comparable to Louis Vuitton but you are NOT Louis Vuitton.

3) We finally chose some items in the very small range available with reasonable delays. Unfortunately the measures on the website are false! We did a mistake and realised two days later that these furniture won't fit in our room and wanted to change it. For any change in the order (just proceeded and far from being delivered), cancelling or swapping, 20% of the price is retained. The lady on the phone was polite but had to ask to her manager who did not take the phone and just transmitted as unique answer that the conditions are what it is. Your customers are humans, they make mistakes and should be treated as humans! Remember that they pay your salary and deserve some care.

This is the main problem with this store: they do not care about the customers. The fact that no review is answered tells us a lot about it. I will get my refund with just $1500 retained. For what? For zero service. Disappointing.

Appalling customer service at their Richmond store. How this psycho, rude, two faced, customer service person has kept her job is beyond me. She walks around with a laptop, proceeds to come over like she'd like to help by asking whether we need a tape measure and then LITERALLY huffs and rolls her eyes in our faces because we said yes we would love a tape measure! We sought another customer service person who was much more professional and approachable only to find out that we couldn't borrow or even have a swatch of the leather of the chair that we loved. Yeah sure, here's my $4000 and I'll buy chairs that I don't even know will fit or whether the color will complement the dining room! No thanks, I'll take my money elsewhere and by the reviews here, I'm glad I am!

I recently purchased the clover floor mirror and a set of sofa at Chadstone store. The pruchase experience exceeded my expectations.

The furnitures we bought was on white glove deliveries (meaning the delivery company will remove the package and take them away), however the delivery company left the mirror with package. Unfortuantly I was not at home when the mirror was delivered, hence I got in contact with Coco repbulic call center to explained what happend. Next day, I received a call from the Chadstone Store Manager Joseph, who also assisted us with our purchase back then. After knowing what happened, Joseph emailed the service centrer (by cc'ed me in) requested the delivery company to pick up the package given it was white gloves. After a week or so, I didnt hear back from the service center, I poped into the shop while I was doing shopping with my friends at Chadstone. Joseph was kind enough to follow up again and was able to solve this for me within one day!

We really appreacite Joseph's help throughout the process (pre sales and after sales services). He shows his professionalism on accomodating the customer's needs as well as responding/solving the issues in a timely manner. Thank you Joseph.:)

Like many of the other reviews, I would personally never shop with Coco Republic again.

The item and a component of the Toledo desk I purchased arrived damaged and I am now waiting over a month to have it replaced. I am yet to deal with another company that has such a drawn out, convoluted process to repair or replace their damaged goods.

I now can't obtain a response to understand where this all stands.
