Not sure if it's under new management but it's not the same quality as it once was.

A great place to buy bread and very very nice staff. It's doughnuts are very good as well. It should be ratted 5 stars.

It is the best bakery in the hills. It is small but great. The best food in the hills and pies, pastries and doughnuts. The staff is very nice especially Mark.

The best local pies in the hills! The way they've designed their meat pie to always hold the meat in the pastry pocket is a genius move, easy to eat while on the go! All their pies I've tried are fantastic, faves are: : Shepard's Pie, Steak & Pepper, Steak Bacon & Cheese. Their sweets should not be overlooked when taking a visit, the Vanilla Slice is rock solid! So glad these guys are my local bakery, no need to go anywhere else for a meaty treat with a side of sweets:)

Very nice I was up there doing some filming of Thomas the Tank Engine at particular day and I found the ladies service very nice

Fantastic as always. Soft fluffy rolls, yummy sweet treats, perfect pies and seriously good hot coffee.

The best white bread I've had and there and all other selection of products are also good especially the bee stings and everything priced well.

The best bread loafs ive ever had.poppy seed or sesame seeded bread loafs, amazing.better then bakers delight.

Nice coffee, service was quick and there were plenty of sweet treats. Seating would have been great to enjoy the time out.

Decent value for money here. Range of sweet pastries are particularly good. Classic things well done. You can also rely on finding a pie, sausage roll and a loaf of bread to satisfy the need!

Great fresh bread, pies and cakes. The only thing guten free is the chocolate mouse but that's cool as the IGA is close by for gf bread.

Only 1 staff member who i find rude.all the others have been there forever and are fantastic not only in ppl skills but also great food

Good little no-frills country bakery with a great selection of pies and desserts at reasonable prices. It's pretty nice being able to grab a sausage roll and donut and not be charged $10 which is the case with some other bakeries in the area. Staff seem a bit weird sometimes and aren't overlay welcoming, but that's nitpicking.

Great bakery and reasonably priced. Their bread and rolls are especially good, and the vanilla slices are wonderful. I can also recommend the ready to go rolls and selection of pies, pasties etc. I haven't had coffee from there, but as the tradies seem to love it, it must be good!

Honesty, if you want delicious food at great prices then Cockatoo Bakery is a far better option than some of the other local bakeries. Their staff are friendly and helpful, the pies are flaky on the outside and delicious on the inside, and omg they do these like ham / chicken salad rolls and they are a ripper! I've also never been able to go in there and not get an iced apple cake.they know how to do them properly in a saucer shape with the icing spread out over the top rather than those weird volcano shaped ones you sometimes see with barely a squirt of icing.

That bakery is the best place to go to nothing's poorly made everthing is made with care. Best bakery ever

Dropped in after a walk from emerald for a break and a snack. Delicious pies, Excellent jam doughnut and very friendly staff! Highly recommended
