I brought in two pairs of shoes, one of which I was advised was not worth fixing - It was a very honest answer which was clearly not in Cobberon's interest. I was very pleased with this approach.

The second paid of shoes were too tall and needed grips on the bottom. Cobbleron did a great job with both, the shoes came out great and communication was good.

Igor at Cobbleron is easily the best cobbler in the city. I have been to several around Melbourne but Cobbleron stands out from them all. He does wonderful work and is considerate of customer requests.

I had five leather shoes (4*C&J and 1*G&G) installed Triumph toe plates. It was excellent work with fair price. I will always come back for toe plates installation or other shoe repair work in future.

These Italian boots were worn to death by my wife for 10+ years (literally, they were headed for the bin).
As there was an emotional connection to these boots I looked everywhere to find someone to repair them, every time I took them into all the other cobblers in Melbourne, I was told the boots were too far gone and that they didn’t have the skill set to complete such a repair.

On a last ditch effort before they were to be thrown out, a friend of mine told me about Igor from Cobbleron.
I took them to show Igor, he looked at them; “worn out soles, yes. Leather and inner soles in great condition, no problem! ” “I can sew the old leathers onto new soles, no problem” “while I’m there I’ll restore the suede and anything else I find”
With a quick turn around I was presented with these looking as good as new with full new leather soles and solid leather heals and anti slip sole.

Fantastic job, highly recommended. Have since returned for Igor to assess another set of Prada’s. Look forward to more dealings with Cobbleron in the future.

Wife is over the moon to have her beloved boots back for another 10+ years of adventures!

Expert craftsmanship. On the upper end of the price, but it's completely worth it. Even if it turns out to be the same price as new shoes from a basic menswear retailer, you 've got shoes you are familiar with that are completely new, fit like a glove and will last another 8-10 years. Best way to live a carbon minimised lifestyle.

Igor who owns Cobbleron is an absolute genius in his craft. I had a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes that definitely needed some love. The soles were heavily worn, and the patent leather upper was heavily creased. He restored the shoes to looking better than they were when they were brand new. The soles are in absolute pristine condition and the upper patent leather is glowing. He kept me up-to-date every step of the way. He even has a service, which allows a courier to pick the shoes up from your home and deliver them to you when they are repaired. His quality of work is the best I have ever seen. He is an absolute gentleman to deal with and takes a lot of pride in his work. I will only now go see Igor for any shoe or bag repairs. Thank you Igor for your amazing customer service, craftsmanship and being such a lovely person to deal with. My shoes look brand-new again and I would highly recommend you to anybody. I’ve just sent Igor another pair of Christian Louboutin shoes to restore - he’s that amazing!

Phenomenal work from Igor to fix my pair of Italian calf leather boots which had been worn down over the years but were too good to chuck. Reconstructed the heel and treated the leather back to a near new condition. This man is one of the last true artisanal cobblers remaining!

My old cobbler moved out after covid and was very happy with here. I have very high end shoes and quality was top (and he was happy unlike the guy behind 101 Collins st)
