Co Do reviews
58Overall, great place with little to now flaws that I can mention, staff was great and helped us order foods that they thought were fit, garlic sizzling beef was heavenly and the environment was calm and easy to relax and enjoy.
Poor service. Food was really lacking in taste. Used to be so good here but quality has dropped considerably. Everything looking a bit rundown.
I enjoy every visit I make to Codo, introduced to it by my Viet dil who rates the food highly & she's a great cook of Viet food herself. I've dined here many times & it's my go to place to take my Anglo friends to enjoy a meal, they all enjoy it.the food is fresh, flavoursome & good value for money.
Every Christmas I spent my time there. The taste is never changed until 3rd years visit. Great restaurant
The waiter was so rude, i odered the " dry rice noodle", he asked which one, i pointed at the dish in the menu but he kept asking which one, in a very rude maner and suggested the one that was not in the menu. Other people in my group ordered the " bún bò huế với thịt tái" (spicy noodle with rare beef) : they must have ran out of noodle, the bowls were all soup, just some pieces of broken noodles, the salad came out when we nearly finished eating. The service, the quality of food is poor. Big disappointed!
Good atmosphere, good food, not expensive! If anything, it's improved! Nothing has changed! Still the same!
Loved this place. Food was soooo fresh. Love the menu options! And my carrot juice and sisters watermelon juice was on point too! Fried rice was delish and fresh beef and chicken. The flavor was all there! Will be back. Thanks
I always came to Co Do whenever I want BBH, it tastes pretty much the same which the original flavour. Order a takeout through uber yesterday night and found out there’s a cockroach in my meal. I don’t think I will come back but nice flavour tho, only BBH.
The food was pretty good, base on my taste buds as an Vietnamese, the flavour are authentic enough. This restaurants have lots of employee so be careful when you walk. This place just need a couple more decorations to lighten up the mood. Beside all of that this restaurant is good for its price which is in the 20 to 40 dollar range.
Looks like times are hard with inflation the amount of raw beef has halved this was one of the most generous restaurants around now beef pho be like where’s the beef it’s still tasty but it’s a very Vietnamese biased restaurant when you call up you are greeted in Vietnamese then handed to a English speaker taste wise it’s dope but now we all feeling the pinch you can taste the pinch I’d be happier to pay more for more beef that is the luxury of pho
They have 3-4 pages of food on their menu so I’m sure there’s something for everyone. My personal fave is their Bun Bo Hue, Banh Canh, Com Chay and Banh Bot Loc!
Restaurant is always clean and really well presentable, very spacious. Food always comes out quick and pipping hot (which is what I like)! I’m sure there’s heaps more delicious food, so if you’re in the area then pop by because I know you won’t be disappointed.
A dishonest shop!
I ordered a small pho but they charged me a medium one when I checked out. I told the lady I ordered a small one but she insisted it was medium size. It was only $1 different but the pho I had was very small, even couldn’t fill me up. Is it because I am not Vietnamese so you overcharged? I shouldn’t have paid it.
The hygiene also needs to be improved!
Popular Vietnamese restaurant with plenty of seats and can accommodate large groups. I’ve been here a number of times and it’s my go to Viet place at Sunshine. They are famous for their bun bo hue, but I have noticed the soup is not as rich as what it used to be (pre-covid). I highly recommend their salted fish fried rice and rare beef pho, which we usually request the rare beef to be placed separately on a plate.
Good authentic and comforting Vietnamese food on a cold winter morning. Not along our usual travel but are an effort to try different places.
The food was great and service was expedient and helpful when explaining dishes to our table. I'll definitely be back.
Was ordered late around closing time.however the order was on good track.super fasst and warmly welcome from staffs
Great service, best aisen food iv had in years! We will be back soon! Ordered the Black bean beef, chicken fried rice and sizzling duck/plum! Sooo good
Waiter doesn’t have any manner.hes mopping infront of the table with bathroom mops and bad smell everywhere around while eating.they should be aware of these stuffs.
Literally the worst spring rolls and rice paper rolls I have consumed.
The spring rolls were tiny undercooked sticks of oil.
The rice paper rolls were extremely stale, soggy and smelled off.
Literally could only take one bite of each item. Made me feel so sick.
Fast service, excellent food at reasonable prices. Quite a large and interesting menu. Very pleasant and cordial atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
