Clyde Street Kindergarten

We liked Clyde Street from the moment we walked through the door. Yes the garden is gorgeous but it's educators who won us over. They were so friendly and warm and we knew it was the right place for our children! Our son is starting primary school next year and he couldn't be better prepared for the years ahead thanks to the dedicated staff at Clyde St.
Our daughter will start there in 2021 and she's already so fond of the centre and it's staff.
We couldn't recommend this beautiful, community focused kinder highly enough.

Great history but future I don't want to be harsh. Correct as other reviewers have stated, humble buildings, need to be demolished. Money needs to be spent but don't have the enrolments of old. Being situated between two new modern, childcare /kindergarten centres taking its toll. My neighbour informed me to stay clear.advised me that education director needs improved customer service skills, or simply put, being polite. Can't recommend look at other options.

My son loves this kinder. Highly experienced educators who the kids all adore. Great outdoor space and lovely community feel. Will definitely be sending my younger son there too!

Clyde Street Kindergarten is an amazing early learning space. The dedicated teachers and educators have a wealth of experience and the play spaces, particularly the outdoor area, are fantastic!

Wanted to enrol my kids here.but this place seems poorly organised.
Never respond to emails, never call back when say they will?
Not interested in my enquiries.
How can I take my kids here?
They deserve zero stars, going by my experience.
How can I trust my kids education here.
Punctionality zero.and have heard money hungry.parents beware.
Best decision not to send kids here.

The only thing good about this kindergarten is the playground.
I found the teachers boring, non exciting and I guess, I still after 5 years my kids leaving there, I still have a grudge, especially my boy who I felt was picked on, not by the kindergarten kids but by his teachers. And I'm happy that I didn't take your advice to keep him back a year, it was the right decision, thank you very much.

My boys love CSK! Old school community feel, amazing teaches and educators, great outdoor space and a warm energy that my kids love. Would highly recommend for any parent looking for a kinder to set solid foundations to their kids

My two sons went to Clyde Street Kindergarten. I can't speak highly enough about the centre and staff. My sons loved it there since their first day. This is a beautiful kindergarten. The teachers and educators are very caring, experienced, and knowledgeable. The centre has a warm and loving feel to it, and the staff are fantastic. The kindergarten program is also very engaging, interesting and hands-on. Thank you all for the great memories.

Don't let the humble building facade deter you from this little gem in the heart of Thornbury. Clyde Street Kindergarten has highly qualified educators and an amazing parent community. The huge outdoor playground has plenty of shade, beautiful trees, an edible garden and is the largest outdoor place space in the area. Both of my girls adored Clyde Street Kindergarten.

After two years at Clyde Street Kindergarten, our previously shy, clingy and anxious daughter is now a confident, social and happy little girl who has had no problems adjusting to her first year of school. Her time at kinder was so valuable.the educators at CSK are warm, caring and very experienced, the indoor and outdoor play spaces are fantastic and the community feel is wonderful. Our son is now in the 3-year-old group at CSK and loving it too. We're so glad we made the choice to send our kids to Clyde Street Kindergarten and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
