Club Retro reviews
55Fun night out listening to daggy old pop songs. Generally slighter older chilled out crowd (25 plus), just a bunch of people out for a biggie and a drink. Always good.
Can't have a bad night here!
Unless your Googs and get slapped by some random for doing absolutely nothing.
Otherwise 5 thumbs up.
All sorts gather to the love of some great retro music. Nobody is left out in the love of a good night
Good atmosphere, good music.but certainly not worth 25$ entry fee and male to female ratio pretty awkward sometimes, not the friendliest vibe around.
Came here with a couple of friends personally I didn’t enjoy the experience music wasn’t my taste so that made it pretty bland for me
Hmm not something ppl dress nicely for.
Varies young to mostly older.
Music is retro
But $20 to enter ouch, easily at 1 pm bc its not that great
Free bottles of water instead of glasses
Honestly, I don't even know why it has so many low reviews. It is my favourite go to club in the city. The only thing I don't like is how dirty the floors get (it's inevitable because of the hyped up crowd). But I wish there was a sitting area for when my feet get so tired in heels! Also, the mixed drinks are never good so I always opt for a premixed like a beer, etc. Otherwise, I would give it five stars. The music is amazing and so is the crowd and staff. Love love love Club Retro!
Fun place to go and dance. Good rnb upstairs on a Saturday night too. The roof top beer garden is nice too. Fun night out.
Always a good time. Keep in mind there's an entry fee of 20ish but always a fun place to end the night.
No lying when its retro. I went on a Friday and they played a lot of classic mostly from the 80s. Staff and security were nice and my large group got in easily before 10pm.
Huge venue, sadly the music wasn't very retro at all. Not quite what we read on the website, we were a group of 10ish looking for a retro night out to celebrate a birthday milestone. Sadly, that wasn't the case.
Their drinks selection is very typical, not a craft beer venue.
Plenty of space but the area seriously needs maintenance.
Great for old-school retro dance music but definitely not the place to catch up with friends.
Favourite place to boogie, don't come here for your doof doof, come here for the real old school tunes. Nothing like it.
Been a fan for years, but last night - just too loud. When songs no longer sound right because of high volume distortion. I suppose my retro days might be over.
Love this place! Fun, relaxed and non- pretentious atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful, music is everything I loved about my teen years (and earlier). You know you up for a great night of Retro is involved.
Never seen a long line for the ladies bathroom. If it's a hot night, the temperature inside can be a bit unbearable once it fills up.
