Cloud 9 Escapes

A bit of fun, but way too easy. Far too many clues given and given too early. We'd be just starting to work out the puzzle when a clue would be given that totally gave it away. The phone call element was a good idea, but too crackly and hard to hear. The pre-escape blurb was kind of useless. The extra info given by the shop assistants again made things too easy. The puzzles were a bit repetitive (codes and phone numbers over and over). The weapons/tools bit was silly since it didn't actually activate anything. The fingers and tags puzzle made no sense.got the first bit of the code and then just brute-forced the rest.
Not sure if it's supposed to be part of the puzzle to psyche us out, but I can't believe the shop assistant's claim that it's considered the most difficult escape room in Victoria. Quite expensive too.

I love the escape rooms I have done the larkdale slasher and it was amazing and the attention to detail was sick can't wait to do the witch one it seems really good and really friendly staff

Review for the Larkdale Slasher escape room:
$55 p/p for an escape room!? ! Paying this kind of money for a 60 minute maximum time limit is blatantly outrageous. If you do not complete the escape room in under an hour, you fail and pretty much pay for 3/4 of the experience. The puzzles are un-original and overtly 'copy and pasted'. Not to spoil, but 90% of the "puzzles" consist of finding a multi-numbered code of some sort and entering it in a digital number pad or a padlock. *Snooze*. Don't let the "hard" difficulty fool you though as the real challenge is solving a puzzle with barely enough context or information. Just imagine finding a key to a lock you haven't even discovered yet. There are no hints or any set of instructions to where the lock is and all you are given is a sarcastic "good luck". Frustrating to say the least. I've been to many escape rooms and all of them deliver a far more creative and original experience for 2/3 of the price. If you expect me to give Larkdale Slasher anything but a 1/5 stars, you've got your head in the clouds. Please spend your money elsewhere.

So much fun! I would do it again if I didn’t already know all the clues now. A bit creepy and gory, but not as bad as I expected given some other reviews I’d read. Really fun and atmospheric, difficult, but not too much so. I’d highly recommend.

My review is only about the Board Games part of the shop! We were only in Bright for a night and love board games. Had a recommendation from the man at the shop that Tokaido was a good game for 2 players and he loved to play with his wife. We took the chance to accept the recommendation- and we are glad we did! The shop had such a good selection for games for a 'small' shop. Recommend - friendly service

My husband and I had our first VR session and escape room experience here and it was so fun! The staff are awesome and super friendly. They explained everything really well and didn’t rush us through. We will definitely be back!

Having visited many escape rooms around the world I can honestly say this is one of the best, the care and work put into the rooms are amazing.
From the room to the great staff I guarantee you will have an amazing experience here.

Great little gem in the heart of beautiful Bright, Victoria! Lots of fun in the Virtual Reality arcade and we left with some awesome goodies from their little pop culture shop. We will definitely be visiting again!
