Climb West Melbourne

Love everything about this gym, only wish it would open till 10 so I could come here more often!

My two kids have been part of youth squad since mid-2022 - it’s been such a positive experience. My older son prides himself on his calluses and works hard to improve at different climbs; it’s been great for his resilience and mindset.

Great place for all ages. My teenage daughter is doing the Youth Squad Training and loving it. The staff are lovely, and the coffee is good.

Climb west was the fist bouldering gym I went to! No I’m a regular there!
The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere and energy is very safe, friendly and welcoming!
They change their walls regularly so hard to get bored.
They have lots of climbs at different difficulties too.
They provide free drinking water and access to there small gym perfect for a post climb workout for those looking to do a bit more of a workout session!

Truly lives up to the solid 5 star rating. Super clean facilities, some really surprising gym equipment with a full cardio room!
Climbs are a lot of fun and well set, challenge for all levels with a good variety.

Best part is the adjustable kilter board!

Even if you live a bit further definitely give this place a shot, you'll love it.

Also coffee and drinks are very affordable ️

Been climbing consecutively for a year this gym goes alright decent bouldering problems I believe they need to reset the climbs a bit more often though

The adjustable feature allows for a greater range of difficulty and versatility in training. Having an adjustable kilter board is a great asset as it allows for a wider range of skill levels to train on it and improve their climbing skills.

Very good place to start climbing. Different levels of climbing so that everyone can have fun. Coffee and food was very good. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a space!:) this is the only bouldering gym in Melbourne you ever need to go to! Such friendly and helpful staff, amazing climbs for all experience levels, super clean and comfy chillout areas, awesome showers and change rooms and OMG the coffee and toasties are to die for! I could literally spend 24hrs there haha! Go check it out!

I've been climbing at climb west for almost three months now, the staff are very helpful and nice and there are always new and fun climbs to try. The food here is awesome as well 10/10

I started my bouldering journey at Climb West, from the beginning the staff we're incredibly friendly and welcoming. Now I consider myself a "regular" at with the climbing gym and yoga. I would highly recommend checking this gym out and their coffee van (they have the best dirty chai's)

Small but feature packed, friendly and chilled gym. Plenty of harder climbers to swap beta with too.

They've spent a bucket load on quality holds and volumes, there's a range of wall angles and styles of problem, a basic free weights setup, yoga upstairs, and a kilter board if you're looking for a benchmark or keen to push harder.

Love it! So much fun with Staff and other climbers being super friendly and supportive. Definitely give it a try if you haven't already.

Had such a fun session at Climbwest, found a lot of climbs for my ability and for those more experienced at bouldering. Really great training facilities & beautiful yoga space.

Awesome experience for someone trying bouldering for the first time! Tom was an amazing instructor and went beyond the mile to really look after everyone. Clean and functional services with a spacious yoga room and compact gym area with very reasonable prices. Definitely coming back.

I did my first climb here today and it was so much fun! The staff were friendly and encouraging. The place has a really nice, relaxed vibe whilst still maintaining a professional and safe environment. Excellent Covid safety. They make great coffee and toasties too! I did the Yoga session first and it was one of the best classes I’ve done. The instructor was delightful and the studio was clean, warm and inviting.

The owners are the most amazing people you will meet. Always cheerful and happy to see when you arrive. The facilities are clean and too notch. The route setting suited for all levels, beginner to elite.

The kilter board is hectic, and the van drinks and grub 10/10. The staff amazing.

The one thing that stood out was that due to my extenuating circumstances they were able to help me out when I needed without hesitation. (Keeping private details out)

Please come and visit this gym, truly a gem within the West.
