Cliftons Melbourne - Freshwater Place

Very nice and well appointed conference centre. I attended IT network training here. The room used as a classroom was comfortable and screens used to view the presented content was viewable from any seat in the room. Restrooms were clean and had a lot of capacity. The kitchen and eating areas were also well appointed and had plenty of seating. Catering was provided by Clifton's, and the food was great, fresh and tasty. They also staggered the break times with other customers using the facilities to avoid queues and wait times. Also something that I was surprised about was the quality of the coffee from the coffee machine located around the rest areas and kitchen. The views of the city from most rooms were surprisingly great.

Went there for an exam. The staffs lack empathy. Well, it's one of those places where nobody wants to go yet they have to.

Great venue for training - been here many times now. New fit out, great food and drink, coffee machines, break out area has plenty of seating and fantastic views. The chairs are comfortable and the IT setup is very good (cabling, desk layouts etc). Equipment available for people requiring remote attendance to training/classes. Wifi provided, along with the usual water, glasses and lollies in the rooms. Quick walk to Flinders St station.
