Phone service is terrible. Couldn't get through. Was an automated phone service, had me on hold for a while then cut me off. Tried 3 times and gave up.

Make sure you do your homework when choosing your waste removal company. Within a matter of four months our Cleanaway invoices had gone from $195 per empty to a whopping $265! Almost every time we got the invoice, there was some ridiculous new charge added to the bill. Then we get an invoice for $214 just to remove the EMPTY bin! Thanks to JJ Richards for reducing our invoices to a much more reasonable $66 per empty with no rental fees. And no, that’s not a typo! Do yourself and your bank account a favor and steer clear of Cleanaway.

I cannot even get through on the telephone to ask them to empty our skip. I have been trying for 3 days now. They never used to be like this.

Poor phone service, they don't know what to do for next. Really very bad service. Need to be done as professional if they want more and regular customer.

Absolutely the worst customer service you can imagine, no return phone calls or emails. No follow up and a complete lack of care to their customers. Do not use!

I needed a quote from this Cleanaway branch recently for medical type waste, though specifically NOT sharps, 240lt, picked up fortnightly. I called 3 or 4 times, explaining each time what I needed, before even getting a call back from the relevant personnel. When someone finally did get in touch with me, I explained my requirements again. My frustration built each of the half dozen times I had explained what I needed. Over 2 weeks after first contacting them the quote finally materialised, for a 22lt bin, picked up weekly. Emailing back to explain that I had 240lt bin, not 22lt, they said they would only pick up every 6 months as it would take that long to fill up WITH SHARPS. FFS. Clearly I went with another company, who sorted an accurate quote, the next day, for half the price.

Oi rip a skid mate. Seriously though if you've seen some of the stuff your drivers do. It makes me wonder how they got their car license let alone their truck license
