Clean Bay Car Wash

For a pretty old and run down carwash they should be providing more value for money than the more popular and modern carwash (Roxy and campbellfield) although its the complete opposite. I would only come here if i cant be bothered waiting at the more popular ones because here there isnt many people using them. This carwash gives you less time per $1 than the other ones, and it takes a long time for the soap to actually start coming out (just sprays water for ages). Whenever you switch option like degreaser takes ages for it to come out so your time runs out before you're done

Worst place ever. The guy that was there started swearing at me and telling me never to come again because I threw a dried leave and twig that were stuck to my car

Expensive vacuums that have little to no suction, wouldn’t even pick the sand up from my car carpets RIP-OFF!

I usually use Roxy carwash but it was so busy so i came here instead. First of all $1 only provides i think 1: 10. At roxy its longer, 1: 30 or 1: 40 cant really remember. All i can say is the difference although sounds small, is actually big. At roxy i can use $1 to soap the car, then the time runs out. Then i use another $1 to wash the soap off. Here $1 isnt enough to do either job, so end up having to spend more. Also, the soap took very long to come out, atleast over 10 seconds. So you lose time there too. I feel like these guys are being stingy

The vacuum at Roxy has 2 options, one for normal power, and 1 for super high power. It also displays the time available clearly for each option. Here there is no screen and no options. You just put $1 in and you dont even know how long you have or what you're paying for. The time is definitely shorter than the Roxy carwash vacuum time. And not as powerful as their super powerful vacuum. Maybe on par with their normal power vacuuum or slightly better. But the time is too short

All in all you will spend more money here at this carwash for inferior service. The soap at the carwash as i mentioned took ages to actually start coming out, atleast more than 10 seconds. And when it did come out i was still questioning whether it was coming out yet or not, because there is barely any soap in the mix. At Roxy its very clear when the soap is coming out and also it comes out much quicker

I go to this car wash occasionally. Recently noticed that they really have decreased the time you get for $1. Used to be around 1: 40 but now it's only 1 minute. The concentration of soap also feels less. Prefer the caltex nearby as its 2 minutes for $1 and more concentrated.

As usual the pressure of the spray gun was ok but the level of heat for wax is probably non existent.and foam is on the slow side.yes they are giving us less than they can in order to be rich

Says wax it was all water other car washes the wax is amazing and you can see the water beading here nothing wasn’t worth it

It's a self-serve car wash, you drive in, put your coins into the slot, grab the spray gun and start washing your car/bike/ boat/ kids/ dog

Always clean & well maintained. The change machine has been a little dicey though. All in all, good place to clean vehicles. Much better than the servo at Olsen place!

Went for a car wash and used the contactless payment. Pressed STOP at $8 and was still charged $15.40! Tried to call the number but it gets forwarded to voicemail. I would like my unused money back.

Otherwise everything else works as expected.

Close to home which is handy. Place is kept clean 95% of the time. Good place to wash your car.

Wasn't too busy when I was there. Vacuum was good, and the cleaning bay was good and easy to use. They have the machine for change

I love hand washing my car and that place let's me do just what I like in an organised and cheap way!

Over the years quality of the water pressure has increased and more user friendly interface but needs more time for every dollar it's expensive and you can't exchange your silver coins only notes which is not convenient

Normally I used to spent only $6-$7 cash when washing my car in this car wash. In my last visit I didn’t have cash and used my credit card. They debit $15.40.but according to the instructions available on the machine it says they will charge only for the used As per my understanding I used only around my regular payment of $6-$7.but I didn’t get my unused money from them yet. This is disgusting. And I recommend to every not to use this car wash station.

Very basic car wash, might be missing a few extras other car washes have however there is enough for my requirements. I get more time for money at this one compared to others in the area, so I'm happy with it.

Prices are as standard for this kind of location. The location has a note changing machine, or the units accept credit card. There are vending machines that distribute ArmorAll, sponges and chamois, or air fresheners.
There are no auto washes.
The location has vacuum stations.
The soap brushes weren't functioning on 2 of the booths I tried, hence the 3 stars. The spray hoses worked as advertised.

Very poor soap and other stuff in term of quality. Price is really high in comparison with given time for commodities.

1min 20sec per $1. Goes so quickly and it takes about 20sec for the high pressure soap to come through if rinse was last used. Will only go there as a last resort and to rinse only.

Water pump wasnt working and took my money for nothing. Better take your car to hand wash place.
