Clay Oven Pizza Restaurant reviews
37This has become our go to gourmet pizza place. Delicious fresh pizzas! You pay for the gourmet flavours, not like the salty, boring pizzas from common pizza places. Ordered the Neptune and Chorizo Quickly ready for takeaway orders. Will try the restaurant 1 day.
Lovely little place, although my partner and I both ordered a flat white and a latte.and both up us ended up with some sort of cappuccino amalgamation:/?
Delicious food, great value for money. The lasange cooked in the wood fired oven is fantastic. Pizzas are perfect with plenty of topping and thin crust.
Save your money and get yourself a frozen pizza from coles, there isn't much difference between those and the chorizo pizza. The chorizo pizza has no flavour and the toppings were hardly cooked. The fact they're charging $22 is ridiculous.
Best coffee around, peaceful location, dog friendly and had a delicious carbonara pasta and bocconcini chicken dish. Great service and friendly staff. I'll be back often.
Don’t eat here ever
Long black hair in food
When asked to take of bill it was a problem. Given that I never touched the dish and they took it away and did not opt for anything else. As I was turned off eating.
Honestly have no words on the owner. Watched him abuse customers the other day and it pretty much sealed the fact in my head I won’t be coming here or bringing anyone here again. He is rude and obnoxious and clearly doesn’t like money if he keeps scaring away his local customers.
Food can be good at times but can also be extremely average ️
The wait staff are always super friendly however.
Went there today after wanting to go for quite sometime. Was not disappointed, Hawaiian pizza was very nice would definitely go there again.
We love this local restaurant and our family and friends are regular customers with almost weekly visits.
The food is great and the vibe and location is very inviting.
Sadly, due to what is written on the front window we have left feeling very disappointed.
The promoting of the vaccine in a coercive way is very off putting and quite offensive.
Most people come to the restaurant to find a place to relax, unwind and escape all the political pressures that we are all currently faced with. Unfortunately, it no longer offers this to us, as you are bombarded with large writing telling you to 'get the jab to avoid lockdowns'.
The local community support and spirit is what helps business survive, not the government and not the vaccine.
I hope that our family and friends can return here again, however that won't be happening whilst this sort of political and forceful health advice is displayed. Restaurants should be offering menu options, not medical advice.
I'm sorry that we have had to display this opinion publicly, but I feel it's important that you know how your community members are feeling as many share the same view. We want nothing more than to support local business and we hope that this message reaches you in time to help contribute to a prosperous future.
Once it is removed we look forward to returning once again.
Served by a lovely waitress, I ordered the omelette which was tasteless and dry. Tried the lemon meringue slice and was pleasantly surprised. Full of locals with lots of friendly chatter and plenty of parking.
Great atmosphere in this local place but the food was only average this time around. The minestrone, risotto & the Mexicana pizza were all ok but would not order either again.
Delightful establishment. Friendly helpful staff, great quality fare. Excellent coffee. Big tick, will come again.
Underwhelming.
The wait staff are lovely but the owner is brusque and seems full of himself.
An undisclosed surcharge on the bill was not explained. Really?
Unlikely to return.
Great pizzas, decent value for money and friendly staff. A park for kids nearby. Away from the city or busy suburbs which make it a pleasant location although a bit far from Greensborough town center
Great place, great food, great atmosphere, and it’s reasonably priced. Favourite restaurant in town, pizzas are magnificent, the Parma is amazing. Owner is great, and the staff is friendly. Place is so great my Grandfather practically lives there!
Fantastic treat! Everything was great and pizza was just delicious! Customer service extremely friendly and professional.
Definitely worth stopping by!
Great little gem in Greenhills. Lovely service and great Portugese style cooking. Pizzas are thin crust and delicious, especially the Rambo!
It's my local, but pizza hut (sadly) gets five stars in comparison. The pizza's lacked taste and the ingredients were very cheap and not tasty at all. They use pre-cut olives that are dyed and the seafood was really cheap, frozen and not tasty at all. There are much better places nearby. The staff, other than the manager were lovely. AVOID!
First and last time.pizzas and calzones were paper thin, burnt and overpriced for the value. Called the owner and he was rude, arrogant and arguably telling me that he had never had complaints before and I was the first. Find that hard to believe. He had finished off not caring if I placed a bad review.
