Ive never there before but i have a question for everyone that did, do they sell crawfish and lobster? I am planning on doing a sea food boil and i dont have crawfish yet.

Went for the sashimi and sushi, is ok and fresh. Price seems fair. Service a bit sharp, but heho;

Awesome customer service.from a genuine "hello" and a smile (rare these days) to a cold pack with your order it's hard to go elsewhere. Their seafood is good too.

One of the young staff was pretty inpatient. He was really rude to me. I will never go back to this shop.

5 star seafood (and the best inari ever) but they lose 2 points for the massive volume of polystyrene packaging they use. It's 2019 and the planet deserves companies like this to step it up and do better.

Good fresh and nicely priced sushi. Cheaper than the Malls and fresher. Very impressed with the package even though i only bought one sushi roll, was packaged nicely with generous amount of sauce, ginger and wasabi. Salmon in the roll was thick. Thumbs up!

The sushi selection is what I was here for and it didnt dissapoint me. Price wise is surprisingly cheaper then restaurants or even some franchises. Most likely because straight from the store. Very fresh! Only thing i think the sashimi should be cut a little thinner. It is on a thick side but wont stop me if I am around there again.

Bought marinara mix at $39.95 per kg (!) only to realise that it was frozen once we started cooking. A soggy meal. Gave feedback the following week only to be told that "every marinara mix in Australia is frozen". No empathy for customers and an evident lack of pride for their produce.

One of the best sashimi in town. Chutoro is very affordable here, sometimes they have uni. Don’t get nigiri- these aren’t very good:)

A friend of mine brought some cooked Claringbolds prawns over for our Easter lunch.

Seriously, they were the biggest, juiciest and tastiest prawns I have ever had.

Next time I am in the area I will definitely pop in and grab some other seafood to sample.

So I usually shop at Claringbolds when at Prahran. So just now on a rainy Friday I rock up and there is a solitary woman standing there being served. 2 other women at the back look up at me waiting and I wait for 45 secs or so. A woman walks up and one of the women at the back looks up walks straight past where I am standing, greets the customer by name and starts to take her order. I'm stunned. I say if your just going to blatantly ignore me I'll shop elsewhere. Not aggressive just matter of fact. Both customers look at me. It's quiet so everybody heard my comment. So the woman serving, one of the main people always there just stairs straight ahead and talks to the customer as if I don't exist and didn't just point out her appalling service. Now that's a commitment to totally uncalled for rudeness you rarely see these day. I will never spend another cent there.

A Melbourne institution. Extremely expensive prices for top quality seafood. We buy from here every Xmas and when making sushi. I could live inside their display cabinet.

Great seafood and great service behind the counter but terribly unprofessional promo staff out the front of the store.
