City Chinese Medicine

I have to modify my review. Had three visits to Dr Zhou in two years now. Nothing whatsoever to do with his capability though, it is 100% my personal issue - Colitis if you must know, that has no cure as we speak and will come back every now and then until the day I die. I can bet you with absolutely everything I have that Dr Zhou is genuinely care about this patients. Herbal medicines ain't Panadol, it takes time for the effect to become visible and feelable, but the consultation with him itself is a great comfort knowing that you are in good hands and this gentleman really wants to help you deep inside his heart. Kinda disappointed though, Dr Zhou is about to retire as you might notice that his opening hours is reduced by half. Then again he has earned every bit of it and deserves a peaceful and enjoyable retirement more than anyone else on this planet. I take this opportunity to thank you Doctor, for everything you have done, and all the best for whatever happening in your personal life. Finally I gotta say to his students: YOU GUYS ARE SO DAMN LUCKY TO HAVE A TEACHER AND MENTOR LIKE HIM! I'm jealous. LOL

Dr Zhou is a highly ethical Chinese medicine doctor with in-depth knowledge and wealth of experience in Chinese herbal medication and acupuncture. I was referred to him initially by another Chinese medicine doctor (shows he’s also well respected within the profession) and I also started to frequently refer my friends to him since I started seeing him because of the amazing results my friends and I been getting from the treatment of Dr Zhou. For someone who provides such high quality treatment to his patients, his fees and charges are also the lowest I’ve seen amongst Chinese medicine doctors in Melbourne. For anyone who’s having illness that couldn’t be treated by western medical doctors, highly recommend to give Dr Zhou a try.

Enough people have given credit in relation to staff friendliness and treatment qualities etc so I'm not going touch on that, just wanted to start by apologizing because I forgotten to ring back and postpone my 2nd appointment. The doctor rang me half an hour ago and besides finding out whether or not I still need the allocated time slot he actually asked how am I feeling and it is the caring attitude that I truly appreciated. The way I see is that medications, Chinese or otherwise, are nothing but chemicals that fight bacteria/ virus/ other weird stuffs that exist in you body, every qualified practitioner could have prescribed the same stuff that gives the same effect but it is the ATTITUDE that distinguishes good and bad doctors. Dr Zhou obviously falls into the former category. Thanks again!

Dr Zhou is the best Chinese medicine doctor I have ever seen. I was suffering back pain for over 15 years and I was treated by different doctors of different modalities. However, my pain was not reduced. My friend recommended me to Dr Zhou, and my pain reduced 80% after one treatment. I cannot thank him enough. Highly recommend.

Thorough, accurate and very effective treatment. Had both acupuncture and herbs as prescribed for my sinus and chest infection and felt significant improvement overnight, despite 3 weeks of being unable to shake it (even with strong antibiotics). Highly recommend both practitioners.

Dr Zhou Kang is a very experienced Chinese medicine doctor. He has a very holistic perspective and calm manner. He has treated my neck pain and Alopecia with attention and care.
