Absolutely love this place, whenever I go into the city I have to drop by here. Wonderful selection of books for an amazing value! Wide range of genres fiction and non-fiction— book lovers and haters alike should come here!

Place sells second hand books. All genres available and they are very affordable too. I got 3 books here just for $21. A must visit if you like reading a lot and don't mind used books.

As a 66 year old bookaholic who’s raided bookshops all over Oz and many countries, in my view it is the best general second hand bookshop in Australia. I only get to Melbourne once or twice a year but it is heaven to walk down those stairs. Thank you for being so generous, reliable and committed to a wide range of quality books. One of my favourite book stores in Melbourne. Browsing through countless shelves of novels, magazines and art pieces is such a great way to spend a couple of hours. I've been coming here for years and have found some great items, always at fantastic prices.

Probably one of the last few surviving and affordable secondhand bookshops left in the Melbourne CBD, a shame really! Worth a visit for the bunker-like, dimly-lit atmosphere, and its tight, packed shelves of musty stock.

This is one of the best second hand bookshops in Australasia. Huge selection of treasures. Really fair prices and outstanding choice. Truly recommended.

Totally agree with another review; this place is amazing for browsing and if you're not looking for anything too specific. They are in categories though so not difficult to find particular kinds of books. I spent ages in here looking at the collection of history books they have. The shop is bigger than it looks and the books are decently priced.

Highly recommended if you're in the mood for browsing and not looking for something in particular. So much to be found here at good prices. The store is quiet and calm. There's even a couch with a blanket to read on

Fabulous new and second hand books. Find some rare book lover treats. Just across the road from Flinders street station so easy to get to.

One of the best second hand book sellers in Melbourne’s CBD. Originally located in Elizabeth Street, CBB moved to their Flinders Street several years ago. An easy walk/tram ride from Flinders Street Station (towards Docklands) keep a sharp lookout for the entrance. For mobility challenged people, there is an elevator that will take you to a foyer and doorway into their shop. And also have access to a toilet also, good friendly service one of Melbourne CBD’s best!
