The hotel is pleasantly quiet, with exceptional service and wonderful staff. The rooms are clean and well-kept. Its location is very convenient, surrounded by a variety of food options and shops.

Need more attention on cleaning, hair on the floor for more than 3 days not cleaning up, everyday call cleaning but not sweep the hair. And toilet on lobby dirty and smelly.

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights via What's on Melbourne promotion which offered Free upgrade, a bottle of wine, Melbourne chocolates on arrival and a late checkout. However upon check-in, none of the promoted offers were provided.
I booked this apartment because the place was pet friendly and also I could get something extra with the promotion, but I was very disappointed to find out nothing (no upgrade, red wine ran out and chocolates ran out too, had to ask for a late checkout) was available even though a staff called me a few days ago to confirm the booking, so it was obvious that the offered promotion was ignored.
It was very disappointing and unprofessional to promote something to customers and deliver nothing at all.

Great location, nice reception area. Amazingly convenient for trams or walking into the city. Actual room was a good size, clean, modern, great view, really good shower, very helpful with a fridge and cooking facilities. Landline phone didn't work, which isn't too much of an issue until your phone battery dies and it is. Outdated unnecessary stereo. Will stay again when in Melbourne.

Very busy but check in and check out were both fast and with friendly service. Big rooms, I like the kitchenettes. Great location with easy access to the CBD, the Arts Centre, East Melbourne and Fitzroy and Lygon Street.

First time here. Definitely won't be the last. Great size rooms. Nicely furnished and a huge king size bed. Also lifts that work so quickly unlike some other city hotels where you seem to be waiting forever for one to arrive.

Great accommodation. I recommend booking your car park ASAP (if required) as it doesn't accommodate many cars.

False advertising - booked and paid extra for an executive studio apartment because it boasted city views - quote from website -' studio executive apartments are located on level 17 to 25. Each executive apartment boasts floor to ceiling windows overlooking Melbourne's stunning skyline. However our room was located on level 3 with no view whatsoever - except the wall of the building next door. When we enquired about this we received the sarcastic response, 'well it's the city - there's lots of tall buildings. ' So we paid extra for something falsely advertised and then were mocked by staff for it. Thinking of contacting consumer affairs.

My most preferred accommodation in Melbourne CBD. Super friendly staffs (especially Sandy), great facilities and amenities, great rates, and awesome location (really close to great restaurants, shops and Parliament train station too). The loyalty point system through ASR is a bonus too! Keep up the good work.

Nice little room, added little gift bags for the dogs & dog beds - staff were helpful all the way through happy with my stay zero problems very welcoming.
Better than their sister company ‘Somerset’

We LOVED our Happy HOUNDS experience at Citadines on Bourke. Our dogs are family to us and we hate leaving them behind so it was great that this amazing hotel was also dog-friendly! Such a progressive hotel! We stayed on level 2 and there was access to a small courtyard. The experience is much better than an AirBnB because the rules are actually less stringent. We could leave our dog unattended while we quickly went to get dinner.this is normally a big no-no with AirBnBs so we were quite spoiled there. Obviously toilet your dogs regularly! We did a twice-daily walk to the park on Spring Street. There were also toys that they could play with, treats, doggy bowls, and doggy bedding. There was a one-off cleaning fee of $55 but this was so much more reasonable than what StayCentral was charging ($20 per dog/ per night which adds up when staying four nights with two tiny dogs!)
This hotel also has a small gym and a lap pool. I used both facilities. We booked parking in advance and it made things so much more convenient. It's the second time I have stayed here and it won't be the last. I've never enjoyed a hotel experience THIS much, and I think it is because I could enjoy a holiday without worrying about my pooches being left behind.
The front desk staff are also super lovely people and they all deserve pay rises for being awesome.

I stayed in the one-bedroom deluxe apartment. It is located on the 2nd floor. First impression when I walked in was the room is really dark, although it was sunny outside. Carpet was old and the apartment looked dated. The balcony was dirty and dusty with cobwebs all over the windows and doors.

The customer service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. We requested for a tax invoice for our stay which the front service staff refused to provide. I would consider this request to be a simple everyday request. The invoice was eventually provided only after I spent more than an hour going back and forth with the staff. It boggles my mind why I was subject to so much hassle to obtain a simple invoice for my stay. If it was their policy not to issue an invoice, why did they issue it in the end? It's bizarre.

I have to mention the staff (Sandy) was condescending and dismissive in his handling of the matter. There was no apology at all for wasting our time and subjected us to the added stress and anxiety over the matter.

I loved this hotel. The room was very clean, easy access to the shops I don't need to drive since it's in the city, and pets are allowed. They even gave us a welcome toy for our dog. The staff were very accommodating and the pool was very clean. I will definitely come back here when I travel back to Melbourne.

The staff manning the concierge desk were a cut above the rest. It's the little things that they did, like little greetings with your name that you don't expect from a 4 star Apart-Hotel. It certainly made the difference to my stay at the Citadines.

The rooms were clean but you need to request your room to be serviced, something I missed as I was checking in. I don't think it's a bad policy at all. It seems wasteful to have your towels/sheets/room cleaned daily.

The Location is IMHO the best, with Chinatown at your doorstep and shopping centres a few blocks away. All the museums are within walking distance and Parliament Station/Flinders St Station also close by if you need to do longer journeys out of town.

The other great thing about this place is the coffee cart outside the front entrance. The coffee is really good and you can get an unbeatable Coffee + Wagyu Beef Empanadas deal for $8.50 (!). I waged an internal battle every morning not to go for this deal and try something different.

All-in-all it was a great experience staying there and I've signed up to their loyalty program on the back of this stay.

Tip: You can get to Little Collins St quickly rather than walking around the block via their back/side entrance. Just walk around the concierge and it's to the far right. You'll need you keycard at all times to access this entrance.

Front desk staff pleasant, helpful & very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms clean & very comfortable. Our poodles enjoyed their stay and their presents of a new toy. Fantastic location, near all fast foods and supermarket. Chinatown just a short walk through the lane. Tram at front door was so convenient. Parking easily accessed.
