Cilantro - Hearth's Inheritance reviews
28Today we had a really disappointing experience. We ordered chicken tikka masala and it was so sour. Literally heavy dose of lemon juice in every bite. It was difficult to eat even a single bite because of heavy sourness. Lachha Prantha was decent but highly disappointing on that chicken. What a flop dinner with lemonade sorta gravy!
The WORST food ever.
Serving the soup which has only oil in it with left over Non Fried noodles.
Customer service is not at all good.
We hosted a birthday dinner for over 10 people and were impressed by their impeccable service. The food quality was amazing and their service couldn’t be better. We loved the complimentary dessert the team served. Highly recommend it
I have lived in malvern east for 10years. This is a top recommendation for the best indian that I have tasted in oz. Everytime I come my tastebuds are treated with bliss. Keep up the good work & ill keep coming back for more.
This was a fantastic experience! All the dishes were prepared fresh with a fantastic balance of flavours. The chicken was cooked perfectly. One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne!
Probably one of, if not, the best Indian restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating in, in Melbourne.
Best Indian food ever had specially the curries and naan. Chef Sourabh and den made my family day. Thanks heaps for delicious food. Highly Recommended
Thought I'd try this hidden gem for dinner and was not disappointed! Definitely one of the most authentic Indian restaurants in the area! I will definitely be coming back for more!
Highly recommended
Definitely worth the wait. Daniel the chef took special care in ensuring that there was no contamination when they prepared the food for my friend that has celiac. The food was delicious and the waitress was bubbly and helpful. Great food and service by Mel!
This used to be our go to spot.so we decided to bring some friends on our recent visit.unfortunately I’m not sure what has happened to this place in the last few months since our last visit!
They had run out of quite a few items and attempted to substitute… maybe thinking we wouldn’t notice? The lamb cutlet was raw and the naan and paratha were burnt and seemed like they were frozen and reheated? Food was not good, super salty and had no flavour.
This used to be our regular but now we will not be back! Not sure if there are new owners but you need to step it up!
Friendly staff, good ambience and yummy food, thats all you need to make the overall experience great and thats what we got here. Must try their Mushroom Chilli Manchurian.
One of the finest dining experiences. The ambience is Cool and pleasant. Efficient use of the available space. Food is exceptionally great. The owner and chefs know the importance of freshly cooked food. The curries have the aroma of freshly ground spices. Chicken tikka was deliciously juicy and deeply marinated. If you are a foodie and craving for off beat taste, this one is not to be missed. You just need to have patience to wait a bit not because of bad service but Only because fresh food takes time to cook. We'll be there again soon.
Average in terms of taste and flavour.
The Amritsari fish was not recommended by the owner! Why have it on the menu! The chilly fish was fine. We ordered chicken chettinad and were hunting for the tiny chicken pieces in the curry They need to try putting some chunky pieces to balance it. I understand and respect cost cutting in this market. The taste of the current was good and Nan and roti were light and balanced. Ambience average.
One of the worst experience in my entire life, we gave order over the phone afternoon 2 o'clock, but we spent 1: 30 hours then after we got food and in between we ordered naan, but unfortunately we received after an hour, just imagine after 2 hours food life, owner was too rude and no respect the customers, even didn't accept guilty and argue. I will give negative -5 review.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Awesome food, wonderful ambience and reasonably priced. Dhairya was extremely welcoming and took care of our food preferences exceptionally well. Highly Recommend. Will surely keep visiting.
I have never ever had such a disgusting food in my life at any restaurant. Customer service 0/10, food taste 1/10 that's why one star.
The best three things I had there was lemon lime bitters, garlic naan and normal water.
It took 50 mins after I ordered food. Don't know food didn't want to come to us or something else.
It was the first time when I took someone for dinner and that too for the very first time and they did this.
I am sorry for this but it is what it is.
Tried for the first time. Hara bara kebabs are one of my favourite dishes with green chutney. The starters were great and very tasty. We had 2 curries of panner, to be honest, that was nice & the sauce was kind of authentic style. Then we had the Paratha & garlic naan which was amazing. I’m not a? Salty person but we chose to have salted lassi. Food However I tasted it.then ate the whole lot! Best mango ice cream I’ve ever had - so tasty. The staff were very friendly too. Well done to the chef and staff it was very tasty, well presented and served by friendly people. Chef come to the table ask for feedback about food that was above expectations. Highly recommended for pure Desi taste of India.
I have been here a couple of times and also got a few takeaways. The food is good, ambience is cozy and staff are lovely. Its just that I feel the size of the breads are too small. Overall good experience and will definitely visit again.
From walking in the door and being greeted by employee till leaving the place, it was a great experience. Food was very delicious. Friendly staff and great customer service. The ambience was beautiful.
Really nice food. I just gave it a try to this restaurant after relying 2 years on other restaurants. Food was really well and the punjabi gravy was really savoury I would surely like to recommend this to all & my friends too.
