Simply the best butcher ever! Top notch on everything, products, service, delivery. And best of all they remember you and give recommendations for meals! Been going here for years.highly recommend! Even our Great Dane Indiana loves them!

Church Street Butcher has been a blessing to Brighton. Their produce is outstanding, service impeccable and only too kind to carry your purchase to your car. I always look forward to visiting my butcher, certainly out does any of the markets in Melbourne.

The smallgoods brands such as Skara are not free range. I have mentioned this a few times. This is misleading to customers and leads me to question if other fresh items are free range. Would be easily remedied, need to be more diligent and honest if you want to claim to be all free range.

It's rare to find a good old style butcher but we are lucky to have a fantastic one on Church Street in the heart of Brighton. Super friendly KNOWLEDGEABLE staff who will tell you how to cook variations of anything you buy (which I find important as I am not an accomplished cook but I am an accomplished drinker which does help,:). The goods are amazing, lots of great sauces and accessories, and one one recent note the Chicken Kievs (should we say Kyivvs this month?) are huge and ASTONISHING.

The meat is ok, but most pre-packaged into formats: a lot of it pre-seasoned. They seem to put their sticker on a wholesale-supply. The lack of local competition shows in the outrageous prices. Only two places at the counter so it’s slow and the staff keep prodding you to choose quickly (while asking, inanely, ‘how’s your day been’: it’s suddenly getting worse, I feel like saying). Then they have the insolence to levy a “surcharge” on the total even for EFTPOS payments. Won’t go back even if it means travelling further, in future.

Friendly and extremely fresh meat and poultry and delicious lasagna. Keep up the good work during these tough times.

When my partner and I first came to this place we wanted to try everything! If you are looking for quality meat, I would highly recommend Church St Butcher. The staff is also outstanding, they accidentally gave me the wrong meat and were quick to resolve this with a smile. Cannot recommend this place enough.
