Worth it.

From the young blokes that serve you, who are super friendly, to the amazing food, everything was great. Every dish we had was fresh, tasty, and didn't leave us feeling bloated and sickly like some of this food does.

Definitely give it a go, but book a table. It gets busy.

Beef Pho ordered tasted great!
4* for atmosphere, no tables inside but 3 tables outside if you wanted to eat locally on the Nepean Highway, but there's a beach just behind, so that's probably a lot nicer!

Don’t normally do reviews lol, but i came with my family and the service and food was amazing, one boy (don’t know his name) was having a good ol conversation with my dad about cricket and made him very happy!

This place is a cozy little joint with good food. Not many great Chinese restaurants in the bay area. This one would have to be one of the best when it comes to cost, taste, ambiance and customer service. The young guy is so friendly and helpful

Had long heard of this place around local Facebook pages and tried tonight! Did not disappoint, the waygu beef chilli dumplings were awesome and the pan fried pork dumplings also fantastic.
Would definitely have again without hesitation!

Recently dined in here for the first time and the food was amazing. Very impressed with everything we tried! The staff were also lovely. One thing to note is it is BYO only, so come prepared with your own drinks.

The worst special fried rice I’ve ever eaten bland as bland, chicken ribs says it’s spicy I struggled to taste any authentic flavour let alone any heat or spice disappointed as they were recommended by a friend and the reviews seemed all good

Great food and very good service, been our regular go to for take away since lock downs started, wish they would do delivery other than Menulog.

Chong is amazing. We have eaten our way through Melbourne every other Sunday (Yum Cha) there is only one.

Lovely family business. Owners very friendly and welcoming- intimate dining room. Fresh Yum Cha ordered from menu. Flavours were excellent, herbal tea was special as well. Scallop dumpling and the Ginger dumplings were our favourite on the day. Support this little gem- tucked away in Edithvale.

Super yummy food! Just discovered Yum Cha is a whole new experience (no trolleys these days) and wasn’t let down. The food was freshly prepared and divine. I ordered 3 items, Peking Duck Pancakes (2 pieces), Prawn & Pork Fried Dumplings (3 pieces) & Mushroom Pancakes (2 pieces), accompanied by a herbal tea, not something I’d normally order but it was perfect. Just so yummy, I wanted to order more but was so entirely satisfied, sadly didn’t need too! The best $30 spent. This is a firm favourite for my hit list of ‘must have’ food venues. Children are welcome. Highly Recommend. A little treasure tucked away in Edithvale. Xx

Ordered off of uber eats. The blue for the price is just not there. The fried rice was gross clumped together and Luke warm. Binned. The wontons were cold and soggy. Binned. Also 3 small wantons for nearly 10 dollars is insane.

The 3 stars are for the duck wontons and the duck wontons alone. They are insanely amazingly good. Holy cow.

This place is the best around the area. Make sure you try their home made Chilli Sause, you'll thank me.

Fantastic dumplings and really enjoyed the sweet and sour pork. Not a huge fan of the special fried rice, it's a bit too inauthentic but still nice. I will definitely be back for the dumplings and yum cha

Saw the high reviews so was keen to eat here after being at the beach all day. The food was a big disappointment. We ordered a variety of things from the menu. Firstly the wontons were okay but dripping in oil. The golden beef was nice but the lettuce (not salad) served on the side is soggy and pointless. The other beef dish lacked flavour. The whites chocolate dumplings with home brand ice cream was terrible. Honestly the food was not good. I’m sorry we tried to enjoy it. My favourite food is Chinese but this was not enjoyable.

Food is very tasty but small portions for the prices. For home delivery we ordered golden beef which does say on the menu comes with salad. Half of the standard container was filled with lettuce (that was the only ingredient in the salad) and therefore only half of the container contained beef. We also ordered sweet and sour pork which is a staple we order at other Chinese establishments and the portion size was roughly half to two thirds. Considering we paid nearly $40 for those two dishes alone we feel it was over priced. For this reason, we will not buy again.

Wish I could give this place more stars! Amazing food, you can tell it's made fresh. Great service, variety of menu options. It's always consistently great food - never had a bad meal here.
