Chow Garden Chinese Restaurant, BYO, & Take Away

Such a beautiful Chinese meal, had the banquet, and it was absolutely amazing. Staff were very helpful, and friendly.

Lovely place for a sit down meal. Friendly service with delicious dishes and plenty of variety.

We had forgotten just how good this place is.

Got sweet and sour chicken and special fried rice. And wow it was delicious. It was fried chicken and perfect sweet and sour sauce. The rice was packed with flavour including vegetables, prawns and bbq pork. Definitely worth trying.

Food here has always been great. The food serving is generous, comes out fairly quickly. The meat was tender and super tasty. No complaints

Seriously this is the last straw been coming to this place for years got my lunch today not only for me but others as.my meal was less than to be desired if l want cabbage l go to the fruit and vegetable shop meal was waterey lacked flavour, place really needs a shake up.l also asked to have something done but it was to much for them so I'll never step foot in this place again Mens toilet is disgusting and dirty. And if you serve people at least try and smile it's not that hard.

Very average, bland Aussie Chinese food. It’s been years since I dined there and I won’t be returning in a hurry. Very disappointing

We have been coming to Chow Garden for years. Reasonable pricing and great food. I highly Recommend eating here.

I dont know why its still called Chow Garden. Patrick Chow retired many years ago and sold the business to new management.ever since the food has changed.the review with the lady with the blonde hair who gave 5 stars for beautiful atmossphere actually works behind the counter.bit desperate writting your own reviews isnt it

The food at Chow Garden is very good. The menu is varied but all of our dishes were tasty and fresh. The service was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. I will be coming back.

Westernized mediocre Chinese food. It’s in Epping so what do you expect. Go to Preston or Lalor instead.

Orders a lunch pack mention the world lunch pack multiple times and end up getting a separate black bean and fried rice very annoying

The food here is super tasty and will leave your mouth salivating and wanting more set in the heart of Epping it will fill the whole in your stomach the staff here are friendly and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello so come on down and grab a meal why cook

Food and service has gone down hill with new ownership. I went here for 20 years and had no problems. But now the food is disgusting. Waste of money.

My local Chinese Restaurant to go.
Curried chicken is our son favourite dish.
Mr. Chen and staffs are so polite and humble, always bring a superb service to customers.

New automatic coffee machine purchased a year ago to serve new coffee menu.

Good Chinese place. I like there hokain noodles. Cashew chicken is good overall it's good place to have dinner out.

Place makes good food. But there customer service is rubbish. Open at 530. Answer phones at 4. But can't take orders till 530.seriously.eh and meh.never will I buy again and advise all to stay away.

Called and ordered via phone and was told the food would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes. I arrived and paid 20 minutes later and was told to wait in my car and the food would be brought out to me. Another 5 minutes pass and no food to be seen. I ventured back inside to ask if the order was ready to be bluntly told 'no' with no ETA or apology.
Finally got the food after half an hour.

Terrible communication and non existent customer service.

The fried rice left a lot to be desired. Hardly any ingredients apart from the rice itself.

This was the last time I'll be ordering from Chow Garden which is a shame as I know it's an Epping institution.

Been going to Chow Garden restaurant for over 25 years and the food has been very good every time, never had a problem.
