I highly recommend Chop Shoppe for creative fashion up-cycling. Heather took my tired 90’s-style black leather jacket, which was always too large for me, and adjusted it to fit me, modernised the style, and glammed it up with new collar and cuffs made from a great blue/grey faux snakeskin material that she had in her stash of interesting fabrics.
Heather is amazingly creative, and I love the fact that I now have a “brand new” jacket made from an existing piece of clothing that I stopped wearing years ago. So not only is it great for my wardrobe, it’s great for the environment.
