We found Steve at Choices Flooring Hawthorn to be efficient, knowledgeable and professional, not only in relation to the products but also regarding some aspects of the installation process. Based on the carpet and timber floornig we looked at, their pricing seems quite competitive especially in the mid to high end range. We will not hesitate to recommend Choices Flooring Hawthorn.

Pros: Positive pre-sales experience, good carpet options, prices are mid-range of the quotes we received.

Cons: Delays to promised install date occurred without sufficient notice (covid related but still a pain). Installation took two days instead of the single day originally promised (again no advance notice). Damage to wall in one location was met with a very negative response - insinuating it was us and that we weren't being truthful.

Overall this left us with a very sour taste in our mouths. All this could have been solved with better communications

Steve and the team were great to deal with. They communicated with us regularly and ensured that we understood what was happening at every stage. Really appreciated the attentiveness and high quality customer service.

After months of lockdown, we were so excited to head in and pick some carpet and timber for our house. Only to be greeted with a closed store on the 1st November. We headed down the road, to another flooring store that was open, and made a selection and paid our deposit to them. Really disappointed.

Hawthorn store has a great selection of carpet samples, more than others nearby. Super friendly service and very quick timeframe for a quote then to installation. Very happy with the end result!
Steve stepped in at short notice to help with furniture moving which was very much appreciated.

Steve went above and beyond to put floorboards in my apartment, it was very much appreciated! He did the job for me at very much last minute, and was so accommodating to my requests. He spent a significant amount of time on hold with a supplier to try and get me flooring that was out of stock. Would 100% recommend!
