Choego Frankston

Everything was good except for price of a japchae. I can't believe I paid $21.9 for half a bowl that is why I gave 2 star.
I understand that inflation is high but half a bowl, is just unjustified.

The chicken is good (so good) but the service was not. The potato chip on the scewers vary from good to bad depending on the day though.
The guy taking my order made me feel like I was an inconvenience.

The chicken is really nice here. Friendly staff. Very happy with this place. Would recommend it to anyone

Choego Frankston is a Korean street food restaurant with great-tasting menu options for good value and portion sizes. Their bubble teas were also pretty good and the customer service was excellent.

I've been coming to this place since it opened. The chicken is amazing, but the staff & service gets worse & worse each time I've been in the last year. The staff are VERY slow & refused refund when they messed up my order, making the wait even longer & getting very defensive trying to blame me for their mistake, before being told by other staff it was theirs & still no apology.
There is hardly ever any food ready to go when they are located in a very busy walkway, each time I've been at least 5-6 people have walked away due to long wait times & slow service. I hope the owner knows how much money they are losing by hiring such incompetant staff & picks up the service to what it used to be.

Mmmmm crispy Korean fried chicken with your choice of 4 different dipping sauces. Soooo good!

It's a nice place and all but today was a shame for me. The ice cream I was given had a BUG in it. I showed one of the workers and she gave me a refund and apology which is good. I do hope they clean out their ice cream tubs properly though.
Also their bubble tea tasted strange and was undrinkable for me.

Amazing food. Spicy pork bento box and spicy chicken bento were fantastic. Love the vegetarian dumplings. Lovely people too. Definitely ordering again. Many thanks.

The worst bubble tea in Frankston. Do NOT order drinks from here. Very disappointed since the bubble tea used to be a lot better a few months ago, now it is barely drinkable.

The boneless chicken is to die for! It is Soo crispy, juicy and full of flavour every single time I've bought it, especially with the dipping sauces! I drive about an hour once a week with my family just to get some good chicken. I have been coming here for about 1 and a half years now and will continue to come! They have lovely staff there that do an exceptional job, especially one lady Zoi who has great customer service and is very kind and lovely everytime I have attended, she is a great asset to the place! The bubble tea is also very good. Keep up the great food and customer service!

Was expecting authentic Korean fried chicken but instead was served chicken with greasy coating and tasted like it was fried in fish grease. Overall off-putting smell and taste. Would not recommend to anyone seeking actually kfc. The wait time was also too long considering the subpar standard of food being served. Very disappointed.

Ordered through app. App took $78 meal fee. Choego rejected order.
App Company said Choego had to refund.
Choego Said App Co Refund.
Got no refund. Got no food. Got Given the Shaft.
Pity Choego Have Awesome Food.
I've never had a problem with them before and I've ordered once since only because Fiancee really wasn't well and wanted their Kim Chi Fried Rice

Soy garlic sauce is amazing! Chicken is tender but crispy outside and chips cooked perfect crispy but not overcooked. Hope they expand and make this available in CBD Melbourne too!

Picked up a fried chicken and chips pack for takeaway as I had only heard good things. It was so crispy! The meat was nice too. Would have preferred some seasoning in the crumb. Chips were well seasoned and salty. Will happily buy again. Good service too.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Ordered and paid for their boxed boneless chicken yesterday. This is my pretty much their only thing that I've always come back for as it's amazing. I rushed home just to find out that it's the wrong item. Got a bit frustrated because when I tried to call them, I found out their phone was not working. Ended up sending them an email and message through Facebook. To be honest, I was not hoping too much as most places tend to just ignore request for refund like this. Especially because I no longer had the receipt with me.
However Busarin, their manager (and it turns out the one who served me earlier) replied. She remembered me! They were busy at that time so I was pleased that she did. She asked me to come back today to pick up the right one, even got the initiative to ask me what time I would be there so I didn't have to wait. I got there, my food was ready waiting for me. They even gave me all the four dipping sauces to go with it. And on top that, a free bubble tea for all my trouble! I ended up buying another bubble tea for my friend and we both liked it!
Thank you Busarin and Choego team! Five star food and five star service! One happy customer and will be coming back for sure ;)
