Everything is delicious and service is always friendly and quick. The chicken baguettes and lemon meringue tart are a must!

Delicious treats! The service is great, especially from Casey, who knows my order and starts preparing it (with my little twist) as soon as she sees me walk through the door.

Amazing service and pastries, however even better was hearing management ensure their staff took their breaks.

The most amazing cakes and patisseries in Mornington, would not go elsewhere. Always accomodating and reasonably priced considering the quality.

The food variety is both amazing to look at plus very delicious! The hot drinks are tasty although I personally prefer my tea to be very hot, as it cools rapidly in cafés.

Love La Chocolat. Not cheap by any means, but excellence costs. Authentic patisserie using the best ingredients to achieve consistently delicious results. Highly recommended.

OMG.the almond croissant is the best I've ever eaten. The food at this place is sensational. It's a shame they're no open on a Sunday they'd do a roaring trade. Loved it.

The Chocolat of Mornington offers everything you need, from coffee and cakes to pie's, quiche, sausage-Rolls, pizza and specialised cakes. The macaroons are to die for.

Well that's was disappointing for a fellow retailer. First take my money then tell me to wait outside for not wearing a mask which I mentioned I have an exemption. First time this has happened at Chocolat and it will be the last, won't be going back. Always buy all my families Birthday cakes there unfortunately not now.

Good coffee. All the sweets are a-ma-zing! The care & attention the pastry chef puts into each & every one of these delicacies is unrivalled - & that is truly saying something, as I've spent a good deal of time in France, Germany & the Netherlands (where I lived for 2 years). I just wish I had taken photo's.
The staff were friendly, attentive & service was quick. A very busy place & I can see why.

Ooohhhhh lordy…. The macarons are amazing! So are the quiches and the jam donuts and the baguettes and the chocolate croissants and… and… you see where I’m heading with this. Beautiful products, wonderful staff… I feel lucky to have this shop in Mornington

I have just read the other reviews and am seriously concerned about the alleged abuse the staff receive from their boss. I truly hope this is not true. No macaron is worth a female staff member receiving 2 seconds of abuse. I hope the owner has got his act together.

Thank you for the most amazing chocolate mousse cake devoured for my good friends 60th birthday. It was delicious beyond belief and has gone straight to my hips! We will definitely return and partake in more goodies very soon. Thank you for all the deliciousness.

You go here for a *real* treat. No defrosted hedgehogs or stale yo-yos in a glass jar here. Best in town.

Exquisite cakes, superb pastries, excellent coffee and great staff. A must for anyone wanting an authentic French cafe experience but in Mornington.

We purchased such a delicious hazelnut meringue birthday cake from here last month - the whole family loved it!

Every Saturday my dad does what we refer to at home as the "Coffee Run" and he has been stopping here every Saturday since they opened for his croissants. They are absolutely the best croissants and we all look forward to our Saturdays when we all get to enjoy freshly baked croissants and a coffee while reading the newspaper. Baked fresh every morning you just cannot fault them. The staff are all very friendly and the cakes are so beautiful and delicious. Yum!
