Chocamama HQ reviews
21Very disappointing. I have tried many of their products and none have been anywhere near the original. Presently suffering through Dark Chocolate Bullets. The chocolate breaks off the very hard licorice. Much better than their chocolate coated ginger. Some companies boast “made to a recipe, not a price”. Unfortunately Chocamama cannot claim that.
A bit off disappointed in product quality and price. Bought mixhed choc raspberries and expected something like dry freezed rasberries coated with chocolate but they was like sweet jelly coated with chocolate. Too sweet and too expensive for that product.
Great range of candy and chocolates however was incredibly disappointed in their assorted rock candy mix. I love rock candy and every bottle I have ever bought from other companies has been stock standard, the usual flavours tasting how they should. But I don't understand how you can get every flavour so wrong, not just wrong but really unpleasant to taste. After making sure to sample each flavour I had to just throw the remainder of the jar out. I think you guys may need to take another look at your recipe.
Sorry guys, I'm sure you're other products are delish.
Updating my review to a 5 star as staff went above and beyond to fix my order PS fast way sucks I'd say they enjoyed my chocolate
A friend gave me some of their Turkish delight for Christmas. At first bite thought, not a very traditional Turkish delight as I know it, but as I took another taste and another thought Wow! Different but a beautiful sweet treat
A surprisingly very unique variety of chocolate related treats, they have some chocolate at reduced prices and staff are very friendly.
The shop assistant said all products are made in Melbourne, and the store promotes itself with signage as an authentic chocolate paradise showcasing local produce. But on the packaging of the Dark chocolate SOUR cherries that I purchased at $80.00 per kilogram, it says product made from local and imported ingredients. I could barely taste sourness, and the chocolate is very ordinary and pasty. The product is very ordinary and not at all a highlight of Melbourne's confectionery, let alone Chocalate. At ten dollars for a small pack of 125grams, I wouldn't bother returning and I hope to find better representation of Melbourne's chocolate and confectionery.
Wonderful products but incredibly expensive and poor customer service. Staff are often on their phone or are just rude and abrupt when serving. Especially one young woman who is soo moody and always chewing gum. They could do something about making their staff dress a bit more smartly rather than hoodies under an apron. Maybe management needs to check out staff at Koko Black and Haigh’s. Pity.
A little chocolate shop with interesting favours. My personal favourite is their bacon bar. Their products are kind of pricy but they're simply devine. And not to mention the staff is really friendly and helpful.
Best chocolate shop in Melbourne. Great range and helpful staff. Also a great place to visit at Christmas in Melbourne.
Sign says quality inside. Very disappointing to get home to find many products that my children ate are made in China. Bubble gum balls $12.95 one example. Avoid. Go to Haigs for example, all chocolates are made in Australia.
Wide array of sweets! Feast your eyes! Do check prices before purchasing. Items are usually cheaper if available elsewhere. Paid $2 more for nougats
A great variety of products but I’ve found the exact same stuff at Queen Victoria market for $1-2 less.
It's like Charlie and the chocolate factory, a wide selection of sweet treats and delights that always seem to keep me coming back for more! The salted caramel pretzels are a winner, along with the delicious white chocolate raspberry jellies. Awesome. The staff were attentive and helpful in choosing a great selection of goodies to send back home to my family. Thanks chocamama, I'll be back for more
An exciting chocolate and sweets experience. Thanks to the staff for guiding me through the huge variety available. Great for gifts and treats for me too.
A wonderful little store in a great location. The chocolates are to die for, and the staff are warm, helpful and lovely
A great little shop with an amazing range of chocolates and confectionery! The staff are cheerful and extremely helpful.but the only problem is I wanted to buy everything! What's even better is they're online too so you can easily get favorites delivered!
Amazing chocolate! Highly recommend their milk chocolate pretzels and raspberry bullets.
I bring these gifts every time I'm out of state and get glowing reviews.
