26DO NOT do electrical apprenticeship training here. Place is an absolute disgrace. Management are disgustingly out of touch, have no accountability nor respect for students learning, and hold no responsibility or care for the results of their choices.
Why does take more than 3 hours to get a phone call answered I've been trying to speak to someone for a week now?
A/C short course with Wayne Howard.
This three day course was comprehensive on many levels.
Not only did we learn about ARC compliance but also the refrigerant gases available including Hychill minus 30 made in Australia.
The course is hands on, not only performing an A/C service but the vital high level skills of diagnostics.
What made the course outstanding was the teacher (Wayne Howard) has decades of experience willing to share his knowledge base. I had prepared some in-depth questions regarding the dos and don’ts, every question was carefully explained.
The teacher also explains the benefits of a manual process to an automatic machine.
The written handbook and the practical tasks are at the highest level, even pointing out the guidance of diagnostic tools.
The teacher that put this course together made this course captivating.
Wayne I really appreciated the effort you went through to even allow myself to drive my service vehicle into the workshop, set up the gauges to test the system.
Some staff are very rude, one teacher 'Jamie ' who teaches pathology made fun of me being hospitalised & made rude comments. And they should do more drug screening test for all the teachers as I know a couple of them are addicts.
No one answers your calls no one answers your emails very unprofessional course delivery very poor no follow up by teacher never answers any questions.
I started as an official apprentice at 24th of January and still haven’t been in a Tafe for a day… ridiculous
The staff in the health section, ESL, library and also in the hairdressing section are friendly and approachable and students in those areas seem courteous and keen. If you get Adele to make your coffee, in the cafeteria, you can be sure it will be the best ever and served with a friendly smile every time The hairdressing skills in the beauty section are excellent and very cheap for anyone who would like a nice fresh hair do.
Can’t speak for all the staff but from the electrical teachers I have interacted with there’s been a vast amount of knowledge provided to us as students with a wide range of experience. Wifi is good, good facilities too.
Not angry just disappointed my Moodle never works when i have tried to pay multiple times and nothing was fixed
I would like to write the best review ever.i would like to say that this tafe is amazing and wonderful i am very happy how well they treat students and others i started doing cert 4 in disability started 2020 now i have gotten my certificate.i wouldn't have gotten it if it was for with the most helpful teachers and supporting networks, having a learning disability where other tafes who never gave me the right help i needed, but with Chisholm not only did they help they made me feel more safe in asking for help and completing this course always positive feedback i recommend this tafe to others thanks so much for all the help i really am happy to actually complete a course cause i know i can do it as well has feeling safe when asking for help.
Great teachers, horrible cheap equipment, the chairs and tables at the kindergarden are bigger, absolute joke of a campus and the company should be barred from operating in education.

Online learning started for a week.
No doubt the generic, "We are sorry that you did not have a positive experience and we value your feedback. Providing good customer service is very important to us", will pop up on most negative consumer reviews. That is also disingenuous.
Ignore Chisholm's fake concerns for student welfare. GO ELSEWHERE! Teachers come and go leaving students displaced and academically at a loss with guidance or placement support. A Chisholm certification is not taken too seriously with certain employers (especially Government) and is viewed as under par (the Chisholm system warrants this). 'Administrators' who should be helpful and have impeccable customer service answer student calls are in my experience for the past two years, they are rude, condescending and dismissive. The decent qualified long-term Chisholm staff (Coordinators and administrators) at Frankston are fired or leave, making way for horrendous, power hungry ladder climbers to do a mediocre job and tarnish the whole reputation.
Your calls and messages will NEVER be returned and even the managers/ head of one course in particular (Community Services) will not assist with any course issues professionally, timely, fairly or ethically - emails and calls will be ignored for over a month in my case because they "are busy". I have a full time job too and a family but they view students as backburner problems to ignore and disregard as unimportant. Frankston Chisholm is not what it claims - it's disgraceful.
They will take your money and treat you like you're nothing but a cog in a money-making scheme, please don't be sucked in by Government subsidised course costs! Chisholm and its 'higher up' staff don't stand by their own code of ethics or course contracts. This establishment DOES NOT care about your achievements, the effort and time you invest, or your future. This is across the board at Frankston. From the top down, its a disorganised and crushing mess. Avoid, and attend an ethical and reputable education institution instead. Frankston's campus should be shut down.
Very modern learning institution with a smashing great cafeteria.
The only bad part of this place is the parking officers out number parking places.
You will be booked even if you look like you may be over your parking limit.

Got a ticket for 9: 26 didn't get service untill we walked straight to desk to complain staff are very nice the ticket select system is completely garbage
Extremely disappointed that my apprentices short course was canceled with only days notice and I was not refunded for 2 weeks
I finished studying my diploma in early childhood education and care in October 2020 and I still haven’t received my Diploma certificate yet. I have been going back and forth for 5 months now through emails and phone calls with my coordinator just to be told that I need to contact awards directly.
Chisholm is very unprofessional and unorganised, it is so disappointing. I am highly upset and hopefully I can get my diploma soon. Definitely don’t recommend studying through Chisholm, they aren’t helpful at all.
I got my ticket at 4.09 was told roughly a 30 minute wait which was fine, anyway it got to 4.45 and the guy before me finished up and left so I was next up. Instead of getting me up and quickly getting me out of the door this lady decided to have a 15 minute conversation with another lady in the office about her husband, once they ended the conversation I waited to be called up but instead she went off to have another conversation with the guy at the front desk, I decided they have no respect for me or my time so I stormed out. I'll be going to Dandenong to enrol as the staff here have no respect for peoples time.
Clean, quite and the best place for all specially for me that I have started my pre-apprenticeship.
Unsure if chilshom can actually provide any training, need to improve their communication skills and capabilities.
Impossible to contact or talk to them about any things at all
AVOID AT ALL COST.
