As a retired Senior Legal Counsel I am used to giving ad receiving high quality legal advice. I struggled looking for a good law firm to act for myself ad my co-trustee in a deceased estate matter. I finally found Chinka (HEP) Steel in Moonee Ponds. I found the lawyer who acted for us to be not only a good lawyer who immediately knew the answer to the question put abut also was very proactive and efficient in providing the required advice. I am very pleased to have found a lawyer I feel confident I can instruct in the future should the need arise.

Not going through the details of our needs.
After a visit to detail our needs a meeting was booked to sign papers. When we arrived for the meeting we were told that there was a problem with the printer and the papers were not ready. That was a bit disappointing. Why were the papers not prepared before the meeting? Pretty simple. So we did not sign on that day. When we did get the papers and checked them, there were many errors to be corrected. Next meeting, new papers and still a few mistakes to correct.
Based on the above I cannot recommend Chinka.

We have just moved from Richmond to Woodend, and having just recently retired we needed to update our wills and do power of attorneys, both financial and health. The whole process was highly professional and very efficient. Documentation was easy to understand especially with all the special complexities of both children and grandchildren.
