Gave this place a go.the food is meh, you might aswell just have those robot servers you start seeing around other places as they are more entertaining as the workers are. But then again this place is clearly for the caucasian clientele so I would suggest go to Davids next door or a few other just a few steps back. Place is shabby and date like it's stuck in the 80s

I dined in with my work team mates on 28/09 for dinner & ordered Fried Rice with Prawn & vegetables as per the menu, hence the waiter wrote it down and confirmed with me. Once the meal was served I started eating and couldn’t find any prawn in there. I felt something hard and thought some small pieces of dried vegetables. Having some doubt I called to confirm, they advised it’s pork & ham in there. For religious purposes we are not meant to have pork and it was so disgraceful. While having a chat with the manager, he took is so lightly and said they will replace the food and even charged me in full without a proper apology. Definitely not going back.

The food was incredible! I came with my family and we all thought the flounder was the best we’ve had. Would definitely recommend to give it a try. The skin was crispy and meat was tender.

Bland, never rising to "subtle flavour". Neither quality nor quantity value for money. Waiter continually upselling. Disappointed.

Homely atmosphere. Restaurant was half full during peak dinner time. Food is subpar. Got Peking duck, hot and sour soup & mapo tofu. Peking duck was okay, it had pickled carrot in it which is not how it is traditionally served. Mapo tofu was flavourless, zero salt was added. Hot and sour soup had too much vinegar in it overpowering everything, it is also the first time I've had hot and sour soup with frozen green peas in it. Definitely would not be back.

I I used to be a regular here. I just had dinner here two minutes ago and was so disgusted by the stench of the beef that I couldn't continue my meal.
I attempted to try a dish I hadn't eaten before: beef steak hot pot.it was the last one served.it smelled so bad after I bit into it that when I asked the waiter to give me feedback, he said, "I have no idea" and attempted to walk away, to which I followed up with, "Can you confirm this with them for me? I asked him to confirm with them. He went into the back of the kitchen and came out a few minutes later to take the order, and then came back out a few minutes later to tell us that they were making a new one.
The taste memory is the longest lasting, that stench was so strong I just threw up. Then to them, I just couldn't get that smell out of my head and kept feeling sick to my stomach and offered to CANCEL that order. I didn't hear any apology even when I checked out.

The worst part was my husband, who lost his sense of taste and smell because of the COVID, and he ate a piece without even noticing the problem.hopefully he won't have any gastrointestinal problems in the next couple days

Food was nicely prepared and served in a standard amount of time. Overall decor and atmosphere is impressive, despite the slight lack of customers present at the time. Personally the restaurant is underrated, and the meal was pretty fine:)

Dining here since it opened. Always great service and quality food. Dine in or takeaway, never disappoints!

Random restaurant choice and a little disappointing. Food was average, small portions and over priced. The waiter tried hard and the beer was cold

We have been eating here for the last 12 years (except during the pandemic). We have been twice so far since and have found that the quality and the service we used to really enjoy is totally gone. The food is a empty shell of what it was. Omelette was over cooked which they tried covering with watery gravy. Even they forgot to bring my wife's meal out until we asked them how much longer. They finally bring it out when the rest of us had already finished our meals. For the cost of the meals you would expect a bit better. Never coming back sadly. How others say it's still the same

We hadn't been for at least 3 years. We were given a lovely welcome and the quality of the food and flavours the same.staff lovely and it was good to be back

Great food! Should be busier for the quality of service received. Friendly and professional staff.

Went for dinner.superb food and service.loved the food so yummy.best Chinese l have ever had. Had beef with black bean sauce and Fried rice, pineapple fritter and ice cream.presentation fantastic.

The worst experience. Waited 1.5 hours for a entree, only got it because we asked where it was. Then another 1.5 hours passed, asked where our main meal was and said it was cooking, never came. Another couple came in 1.5 hours after us and we’re served and out within 45 minutes. Very disappointed in the service we received. Never dining here again.

Whether you choose to eat in or take away this is our favorite place this part of town! We always love the basil chilli beef

Over priced, food bland, charge you 1.5% extra for paying by credit card, I paid cash went straight into the till, not rung up no receipt, used to be good never going back.

The food was awesome. We had many items but the orange duck stands out. Having said that there wasn't a bad item in our order.
