China Max

Placed a $170 order scheduled for delivery at 5.30, order has just been refused. It should have arrived here in 10 minutes. Thanks very much, you have ruined our evening. Unacceptable.

I'm generally fairly forgiving with Chinese food but the satay skewers were hard and dry and the dim sims were were shrivelled and the wrapping around them seemed odd and slimy. One of the soups was like an odd collection of everything they could find thrown into a container and the other soup had a nice stock but inexplicably had chunks of raw tomato and pineapple floating around in it, not sure what kind of Chinese food that is. The mains were both very bland. I hadn't had Chinese food in a long while and was looking forward to this, was very disappointed.

Just received did a delivery order - chicken and corn soup amazing! The Mongolian Beef was absolutely awful. No taste at all - full of cornflour that was not processed in the sauce. Very disappointing.

Never thought a meal would ruin my Thursday like this had. I was in the mood for some chinese and as china max used to be my favourite spot as a kid i thought id give them a try after it has been a few years. Im very disappointed and had to throw out enough food to keep a few sponsor children full but even then i dont think they would be happy to eat it. Beef and black bean should be called beef and water as there is no flavor whatsoever and the beef tastes cheap and is grey. Ripped off and hungry, will not be coming here again.

China max used to be better. Feels a bit tired. The food has slipped a bit. Pre-covid, we got takeaways quite often for 6 years. Just got my first China Max takeaway post Covid two years, & they seem to be a bit average. I'll still go back a few more times, might have been a one off.

Good food, reasonably priced, good service, varied menu, generouse servings. We will return.

ChinaMax has certainly changed for the worst. I hadn't been to China Max for a few years but I decided to get takeaway which I was looking forward to. After paying $47 for rice and 1 dish, I was so disappointed with the quality of the food, the fried rice was bland and tasteless, the steak was tough and again little flavour. If these place are going to charge premium prices they need to provide quality food. Never again China Max. Rip-off.

I had organised a night out for my family expecting a goodnight out with good food. On arrival we were sitted at our reserved table. The waiter took our orders and to be honest we had asked for drinks about 10 times till we actually received our drinks then we had to order food which was also a nightmare the person who took our order wasn't listening to us was just ignoring us. Not to mention we ordered our food and didn't even get what we ordered we wait for about an hour to which the manager comes to our table and asks us if we were okay we hadn't received the food we order and were rushed to eat our meal also had to pay this ridiculous restaurant money for food we didn't even eat. We ordered a banquet for 3 people also made a order for our little get which she didn't even get. Upon leaving the resturant had the nerve to ask us to pay full amount and even after they knew we didn't receive our meals and things we ordered the waiter who tool our order was unprofessional and didn't care what we wanted I felt like we were ripped off! I would never go to this place again and they way they treat they customers is disgusting. Food is over priced service is poor and the owner just wants money out of you and that it if I could give this place a worse comments and rating I would. Get f@#$ked china max

Exceptional service and food. Some of the best Chinese food we've had in years. China Max is the best it's been in a long time, the food was amazing, one of my favourite places as a kid and it's even better now.

Amazing food, grouse service. Waiter was an absolute legend, this guy was cracking jokes like Martin Lawrence. Actually thought I was at a stand-up comedy performance at one point. Would recommend. 5 stars

Great dine in experience for long weekend! Excellent food and service! Lemon chicken and special fried rice are so so yummy!

I went to this Chinese shop and it was perfect, the waiter was very friendly. I was trying to pick things up with my chop sticks and he helped me with the hand placement. Highly recommend

I'm extremely angry how people can just sell food that will potentially make you sick, spend 41$ for this so called food and one look at it and it went straight in the bin absolutely revolting. DONT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE GROSS.

Ordered Cantonese Steak for $29 and received 8 small portions of steak and the rest vegetables.
Ridiculous value for money.
I won’t be buying off this restaurant ever again.
Be very careful when ordering off this restaurant.

A wholesome place to be at.the Food was good (the lemon fried chicken recommended) and service was welcoming and perfect as well.

Service was good, staff made us feel welcomed. Fried rice, honey chicken, peking duck and battered fitters were all very yum!

Literally convicted of mishandling food and still serving people of Australia! Can't believe they are still open for business. Go at your own risk.

Was dine in last Saturday, food is delicious and the best lemon chicken I ever had. The only problem would be the waiting time. 8/10 would definitely come again.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to gamble with their health, gamble being sick by eating food from a restaurant that has been found guilty, only recently, with a vast amount of food health and safety breaches. Food unfit for human consumption, failed to store food in line with temperature control measures, failed to keep the kitchen area free from rubbish, food waste, dirt and grease; just to name a few. Then when caught and ordered to fix the issue, they still did not comply. Obviously the owners do not care about what they serve and the health of their patrons. Who knows what the hell they have been serving people for being found guilty of serving food unfit for human consumption. This is a premise that should not be operating.

Well dined here a while ago and got sick. Not suprised that it has been reported that they are serving food not fitting for human consumption. Avoid at all costs.
