Food is delicious. Never left a china bar hungry.
Good choice. Can't go wrong.

Food is great for the price with generous portions. China bar never disappoints after a night out with extended hours.

I really don’t recommend everyone to try it. MSG and food are super salty. Unhealthy and bad for people. The boss told me to ask for little salt for the request next time. He also said oz people like salty food. My god!
I am not your employee, how do I know that your food is so bad?

I wish I could give less then 1 star. I always fan of this place but last visit was very very very disappointing. We have only order 2 main dishes and 1 soft drink.in every dish we got hair.it was our bad day or china bar’s.they changed dish.but again hair in dish.

Worst customer service. I ordered a meal and had it put into a takeout container because I thought I might go straight home, but after I got my food I decided to eat-in so I sat on the table outside, and one of the workers told me to leave the restaurant because I ordered my food in a takeout container, mind you there was nobody around or sitting outside at the time so the tables were empty. Cannot believe it. Not sure if there was racism involved in this treatment, but I was highly offended. It was a male waiter.

This is our go to place after a night out.
They are open late and the food is always on point

Beef were so chewy $25 a plate merely ate a couple pieces. Service so bad.chunk of chicken no taste.

Ordered pork buns and didn’t get them. Containers with rice and veggies were cracked and spilled out into the bag! When called China Bar Glen Waverley weren’t interested and said get a refund from door dash! I didn’t want the refund wanted the pork buns! Very poor and disgusted in the behaviour!

Amazing staff and food is always the best, aswell as being delivered superr fast, i did have one bad experience but overall 10/10

Worst ever food I eaten no quality at all not good taste their customer service is worse! There is no good point to write for it.

Havent been here for ages. Tried their char kway teow, prawn spring roll, prawn steamed dumpling and custard egg bun. All very nice but char kway teow and prawn spring rolls are so oily. Otherwise happy with everything.

The worst experience ever. The staff are incompetent and tried to hand me food that they served to someone else. When I said I wanted a new dish they didn’t even bring it out. Please be careful they will try and serve you second hand food. Only gave one star because there is no option for no stars.

I came from Adelaide and was asked waiting outside to get table for hour. In the meantime he only give table to couples, not single person. Never come back here again.

Excellent bbq pork and fried rice and nice service but the water was questionable choc shake a little too icy but still good

Great food, have been dining here for years but hit with public holiday surcharge on Easter Saturday, coupled with surcharge for using my eftpos card adding almost $20 to my takeaway order. Total order was $168. Very steep for take home option.

Busy on a Friday night obviously, came at 10: 15pm and no seats available. Waited around for 10 minutes and a table became available. Service good and fast. Waiter was really nice. I put a low rate as this is a CASH ONLY restaurant but there are no signs anywhere to advertise this. Was intending to pay with my phone so didn’t bring my wallet, walked 2 blocks to find ATM’s but none had tap. Had to then walk in the opposite direction to our hotel to get my wallet to then go back to cash out and finally return to the restaurant. So tip, always carry cash? Or ask - As in this a case, there was no cash only advertising.

Absolutely awful takeaway food. Have heard great things about the restaurant itself and eating there, however I splurged on some takeaway for myself and it was awful. Absolutely tasteless. Very upset and disappointed.

This is definitely the best place when you’re craving for Chinese food. They have a large menu and would really recommend the crispy pork.

The place is clean and nice ambiance where the chef can be seen in the front.
