The order wasn’t what was ordered.
Paid for 250g of gravy it was just over 100g including the container.
The meat was tough and the broccoli was all stalks.

Beef roll with gravy. Beef was that thick the dog couldnt even chew it. It was cold and hardly any gravy. Also the gems tasted fishy. Only gave 2 star for service. I seen a bag sitting on a bench for a good 5 or more minutes thinking was waiting for something to be added. Oh no just called out a name when they realised i suppose.

Better with one at Coles or Woolworths.
Although I think I'll go back to Pollo in Pako.
The chips were alright but went for the chicken. Got it home and thought the skin was only on the wing. Was looking forward to pulling off some yummy skin to eat. Closer look and the rest of the skin was there, no seasoning on it, let alone it looked uncooked. Pulled it off and started on the meat. Don't know what they done but couldn't eat that either. Total waste of money. Dog even turned his nose up to it.

Great little place, seats outside and great staff.
And don't forget the fantastic coffee

A must-visit in g troit.best chips and gravy i’ve ever had.i’m vegetarian so can’t say i’ve eaten anything else here but omg the chips and gravy is more than enough to keep me coming back.

The quality of the food is wildly inconsistent, but great when they get it right.

Sadly tonight I got charged $22.09 for a $15 menu item. When I (politely) ask what's up the staff just shrug it off with "the prices have changed" despite the printed and menu _on the wall_ reading $15.

Not the first time I've seen this either - either I'm unlucky or the girls are trained to steal from customers when they think they'll get away with it.

Was driving past and decided to try something new. 100% the best decision I made this year.

Food was amazing. One of the girls behind the counter said she was making the Parma “extra tasty” and she definitely did.

Service was phenomenal, nothing but smiles from all the girls. Special thanks to the redhead wearing a Santa hat for great menu recommendations and excellent use of the till.

10/10 would eat here again.

Tasty chooks that are always so tender and great in sandwiches the next day too. My go-to hot chook shop.

Went in at a quiet time to try out this chicken shop for the first time. Expected great things that I had heard from others’ experiences with the place and the variety they had to offer. Instead…
Customer Service was poor. No staff were smiling when interacting with them and charged me for than what the item says on the menu. On top of that, they couldn’t even get my order right and smothered the schnitzel and chips with gravy to the point where there was no yellow left on any chips (I didn’t ask for gravy and they wrote my order down as well. Chips weren’t salted either and schnitzel was very soft and dry.
I don’t recommend this place and have been to much better chicken shops.
For positives most of the prices seem reasonable and portion sizes are generous

9/7/2022 - I decided to check out the new food truck in Lara on my way to the football and very happy that I did. The fried chicken was a tasty, flavoursome and crunchy vessel for the gravy that we all know and love!
Serving size was very generous and I finished the meal with a smile from ear to ear. The only problem with the food truck is that it isn't parked in my front yard!

You will not find a better place in Geelong for chips and gravy.

Don't even bother going here. Ordered a Parmi with no ham and it came with ham, it was dry, tasted horrible and had a bad smell. Chips were cold and the staff are extremely rude. Never going back

Waited for 15 minutes for chips & gravy along with nuggets, dim sims & devil wings. The nuggets & dim sims were cold & horrible as they'd been sitting tgere for at least that time. They waited to put the chips on so they didnt have to cook a second bstch for an online order, i heard the staff say this! & never once did anyone apologise for the delay or acknowledge how long i had waited! Not good enough

Delicious roast chicken and the chips and gravy are always a tasty treat, some things are slightly pricey for the amount you get.

Update 22/2/2022: the quality has dropped to an all time low, so disappointing, portion size had been cut in half, chips aren't seasoned, it was barely warm at best, If this was my first impression 8 years ago, I'd never go back.

2020 review: I spent my uni years living down the road and eating here more often than anyone would recommend and loved it. It was the best chicken and chips with gravy you could possibly imagine. Then a couple years ago, something happened and I had a string on bad orders, soggy chips, dry chicken, watery gravy. I was pretty disappointed. No other store was anywhere near as good as these guys used to be. Then today, in the area running errands, I decide to give it another shot, low and behold, they are back to their former glory, rich thick gravy, crisp fresh chips, perfectly cooked chicken. The single best chicken and chips I have ever had is back. I now live 20+minuets away but I will be making that trip as much as I can. If they remain consistent like I remember in my early 20s, this is the best, you will not find better.

Ordered medium chips and gravy. Wanted the gravy in a side container. Was expecting to pay $1 for a container, that’s ok. Then I paid and realized after that she had charged me an extra $5 for gravy. The young girl that served me was extremely rude and was not clear in the pricing. Won’t be back.

It’s very frustrating when you order 1/4 chicken and chips with gravy and you get a drumstick and chips without gravy. Well done

Great portion sizes and really tasty food.
The chips were great and the schnitzel burger was yum!

Good service and not too long between ordering and getting the food on a busy Thursday evening

Very disappointing meal today. Ordered through Deliveroo a Parmi and chips and chicken munchies. Arrived reasonably quickly but the Parmi was burnt and the chips, which I ordered extra of because there often isn’t enough, weren’t even there. No chips. The munchies were ok but the rest of it kinda ruined the meal as the Parmi was charred on the outside and barely edible. Had very good chicken there in the past but doubt I’ll go back again.

Chicken was quite nice, but the rest wasn’t good at all. Roast potatoes were soggy, my sons favourite food and he wouldn’t touch them, peas were cold and the stuffing was abominable.
