Chicken Or The Egg Cafe reviews
12We were very impressed with our first visit today. The service was warm, friendly and efficient and our drinks and meals were served quickly. The tables and chairs were clean and neat, and parking was easy. The food was outstanding - the serves were generous and everything was fresh and tasty. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Please thank your team for a wonderful experience - we're not local but will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne.
I had a delightful breakfast at Chicken or the Egg cafe today. The Buddha Bowl with Housemade Falafels was a tasty and wholesome choice, and the Turmeric Crab Omelette was a unique and flavorful twist on a classic. Great service and a satisfying meal!
Lovely atmosphere. Outdoor seating available with covers. Nice setup inside. Very welcoming and friendly customer service. Our neighbours foods all looked so delicious. My client didn’t have much of an appetite so we ordered cabinet sweets. We enjoyed it. Staff were very lovely! Definitely stop by if you’re on or visiting Maling Road.
Really nice little cafe, friendly and quick service. Great coffee! The wagyu burger was a little over cooked but the eggs Benny with pulled lamb was 10/10. Would definitely dine again!
Went for breakfast with the family. Great food and service at a reasonable price. Would recommend.
Great family cafe - good food, very chilled vibe and the friendliest staff you’ll find. They remember all the locals and regulars and fuss over the kids etc. There are half a dozen coffee options on Maling Street but I go to COTE every time for the a good coffee and small talk that feels more than transactional.
21$ club sandwich with wonderwhite bread and chips worse than the fish and chip store next door. Yikes. Inside the sandwich was nice but. Yeah. That wonderwhite bread tho.
(edit: not insulting, I am comparing the place that is literally next door. It'd be fine if you charged 13$, but 21$, and then saying you use premium low end bread.what?)
Excellent food for photo and tummy and tongue. Excellent. This is our fourth time here. And will coming back. Can we book permanent table
This is our go to local!
Friendly & warm staff & owner
Food and coffee always consistently good.
Hubby does miss the corned beef hash though!
We love coming here!
It was excellent catchup with friend on the venue. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The size of dishes are big
The food is not bad here. I had a cold and a scratchy throat so asked for a mug of hot water and they charged me $1.20 for it! First time at any cafe that charges for hot water. I wonder if they charge you to use their toilet:/
Dropped past this little gem last week with the Mrs and Pooch and must say we all LOVED IT! The atmosphere was great, the service is next level awesome and the food was beautiful (the burger was wow!). Not to mention the doggy treats were cute and very loved by our boy Hachi! So much so we needed a shot for his Instagram hehe
We will be back on the regular!
