The lady literally served me microwaved meat for my hsp the food was ok but I want freshly cooked meat, and they only accept cash to which is a headache

I've been living in Melbourne for a long time but I've never seen a takeaway shop doing such a good job. I have been a customer of Chicken King for almost 2 years and I am very satisfied. They are very clean, they always wear gloves, They are very friendly and professional. The young boy there is really professional. Salads are very fresh and delicious. They make Whiting and Flakes daily and they are delicious. Their chicken might be the best chicken in Melbourne. Their menu is very diverse and plentiful and quite inexpensive. First time Appreciate the hard work ur team is doing in this type of warm weather one small suggestion if possible for next time do v get an option of picking the least salted chicken and chips (cause ur doing a favour to the customers tasty wise)

Great food, been coming here for years. The fellas are nice as always. The lady however, I’ve only seen a few times but I always have a bad vibe when she’s there; never friendly.

I didn't understand why Chicken King was so popular. All my friends and relatives buy their chicken and salad and fish from this shop and they are very satisfied. I came to this shop yesterday and was very surprised. They make great fish and chicken items. Staff are always fast and very professional. Chicken King definitely passed the class. First of all, I had a very good experience at Chicken King. Two months ago, I stopped by this shop just to buy chicken because other Chicken shops were closed, but then I became addicted to Chicken King. They have such delicious fish and chicken that you should definitely try it. Their burgers are always fresh and extraordinarily delicious. Their salads are varied and fresh. Their staff are very professional and always wear gloves and masks. Prices are very cheap compared to other chicken shops. I definitely recommend Chicken King.

The best and amazing chicken shop I've ever seen in my life. I can't understand at all how they make such delicious and fresh chicken and seafood. Their whitings are incredibly delicious. Their chicken and gravies are always fresh and of good quality. Chicken King might be the best top quality most amazing chicken shop in Melbourne. Employees are professional and respectful. Grilled fish and salads are just off the charts.
And I mean this, I tried lots of fish dishes all around Melbourne in the past few years and this little shop is right at the top.
My son had a beef burger that looked and smelled amazing and he loved it.
Staff is genuinely nice and professional.

Today i will be changing my 2 star review to 5. Chicken King through time has evolved into something great. So much variety at a chicken & chip shop with delicious salads ranging from tabouli to potato salad, which arent just thrown together with no care. The foods are of home cooking quality with no cheaping out on ingredients.

I personally enjoy the fried chicken wings that are priced quite favourably and a potato salad that just tastes otherworldly. Ill definitely be here more often

Might be the best, tastiest Chicken, Seafood, Salad and Burger shop I've ever been to. This shop has Chicken products, Seafood, salads, burgers, Family menus and more. I just discovered this place and I am very satisfied. At first I thought the boy who took the orders there was new, but I was very surprised because the boy was very professional and knew how to do his job very well. He helped me a lot in deciding what to buy. Other employees are also very professional and always wear masks and gloves. The inside of the shop and the staff are very clean. Everything is amazing quality and delicious. Thank you so much for giving me a wonderfully delicious evening family menu. Also, the staff gave me an extra GRAVY. NEXT TIME I MUST GET MORE FROM THAT GRAVY. THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST GRAVY I HAVE EVER EATED. Everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Especially at this time, it's hard to find a shop that does this much DELICIOUS, CLEAN, QUALITY AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Here Chicken King has it all. Their chicken, chips, salads, seafood, gravies, burgers always are fresh, hot and delicious. Employees always wear masks and gloves and take everything either with gloves or with tongs. Customer service is very friendly and smiling. Especially the young boy knows the prices of everything and how everything works. Their prices are quite cheap compared to other chicken and seafood shops, and their food is quite high quality and delicious. I definitely recommend. The description is super certain. It is a simple place and super clean. You can see that the staff is working super hard to be efficient and provide good food. Nice food and portions are generous.

I came here for the first time recently when my young daughter was feeling hungry. The place looked clean and was fairly busy. They had lots of options and a little bit of something for everyone. I ended up getting some 'fish and chips' for $7 which was a very reasonable and fair price. The portion was more then large enough to feed an adult. I would have definitely tried the chicken but I have a preference for charcoal chicken instead. All good, the fish and chips was good and my daughter enjoyed.

I will explore the menu options on my next visit. The only negative thing that I experienced was that I had to go and get cash from an ATM as they only accept cash.
