Chestnut Tree Holiday Units

We returned for a second visit, drawn back by the views over the beautiful gardens and the range of activities available. There is a children's playground, a tennis court, a swimming pool and a barbecue. All in all it makes a wonderful venue for a family holiday. The Units are located about 2 km from centre of Bright, which is well known to be one of Victoria's premier holiday locations.

Everything you need set in beautiful surroundings, cozy cottage style accommodation, highly recommend.

Have just spent another wonderful weekend at Chestnut Tree, Bright. It is the most wonderful place to stay. Tracy and Pete are the best possible hosts, and everything is provided for a relaxing weekend away. Cottages are spotlessly clean, beds beautifully comfortable, and kitchens contain the necessary appliances and utensils. Beautiful gardens surround the cottages, and BBQ, swimming pool and tennis court are an added bonus. A truly lovely place to stay. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else

We recently stayed here, firstly the host Tracy and Peter were fantastic. The units was well equipped and super clean not to mention very comfortable. The views are magical. There was honestly nothing to fault. We cant wait to book again for next year!

Chestnut Tree Holiday units are set in one of the most beautiful surroundings of Bright, Victoria with immaculate gardens and terrific views from the rooms. Our apartment was super clean and well decorated, beds super comfy and the hosts have gone above and beyond making sure all is provided for a comfortable stay. One of the top places we have stayed at in Victoria. Look forward to returning.

We had such a lovely time. Tracy was a wonderful host. The booking procedure easy and when I wanted to change a departure date - no issues.
Check is was easy and Tracy allowed us to check in early. The apartment was lovely - very clean - very modern and we had everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and location was great. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Tracey also answered my call at 11: 00pm asking to bring new sheets as my son had just been sick. Both her and Pete arrived with a smile and freshly washed sheets. I was very grateful. Would recommend with lovely hosts, lovely accomodation, wonderful views of the mountains, comfortable bed and a spa bath which was wonderful after a long bike ride)

So close to town but the property is very nice and makes you feel far away from the hustle and bustle. Really enjoyed my stay!

What an amazing property, absolutely immaculate in every way, the gardens and spa are manicured, the apartment is styled to perfection, Tracey and Pete were so friendly and accommodating, if you are heading to the snow or to bright this is the place to stay! 10/10

Absolutely gorgeous setting and perfect hosts. Always in contact when we needed them, and even texted us the door code when we were on the way. Tracey changed our booking from a cottage to an apartment because I asked for a place with nicer views (attached photo is the view from Apartment 8). There were also many little touches that showed they knew what travellers wanted, like power boards in the bedroom to charge multiple phones and devices. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area!

Such a gorgeous property from the moment you drive up the entrance. Spacious apartment that is really neat and tidy. Very kid friendly too with kids bowls and cutlery available, an on-site pool, playground and tennis courts. But the best thing about this place are the breathtaking views of the mountains from our lounge.

Great place for a quiet weekend away. We have been going there for 15 years and look forward to it every time. Plenty of things to do and see in the Ovens Valley using the Chestnut Tree as a base.

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments for a couple of nights during the (winter) school holidays. It was a great location with easy access to Bright Town Centre & other tourist attractions. The property itself was tranquil & lovely with pretty surrounds. We had beautiful mountain views from the balcony & window from our lounge room. My kids enjoyed the tennis court & playground. The apartment was very clean, cosy & comfortable. The kitchen was spacious & had all the amenities. The two wall heaters circulated well with warmth throughout the apartment & the bedrooms were also very comfortable & elegantly presented. Tracy was very friendly & professional and was able to assist me with all my enquiries. Thank you for a lovely & enjoyable stay, we will definitely come back again!)

Excellent property, with an amazing view, staff were very friendly.
Minor maintenance issues where the only downside, would have been perfect otherwise.

We stayed over Christmas. Its a beautiful place and great for families. Pete and Tracey are really friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!

This place is perfect.
It's away from the hustle and bustle but it's it a 5 minute ride or 2 minute drive from town.
The cottages are extremely comfortable and we'll appointed.
The tennis court and pool are added bonuses.
We also love the grounds, the gardens are amazing and kept exceptionally well.
We can't wait to come back.

Dec 2020 Review: We have just returned from 4 nights prior to Christmas, Peter and Tracey have put an immense amount of work into the business since we were last there in Feb 2020. The gardens are even more amazing, the WiFi is faster and better (even despite 10,000 people in town). The swimming pool is clear and fresh. My 4 year old daughter always talks about coming back to "our holiday house"

Our family always looks forward to our time at Chestnut Tree, the facilities are great and the setting is quite tranquil, great for getting away for some relaxation. We love waking up to the spectacular views of the mountains in the morning then wondering through the gardens and swimming in the pool (in summer of course!). Cannot wait to get back.
