Cherry Lake Public BBQ

Good place for kids. Exercise facilities, good walking, and jogging area. Good picnic spot as well.

It was an absolute refreshing experience post Covid, people were really feeling the freedom and this place was best in my 25k limits. All facilities were good, just bit parking issue but thats part of the deal else its fun activity being there.

Great location with a nice view over lake. Toilet facilities are clean and functional. Large playground & surrounded by spacious grassed areas to picnic/BBQ. On site car park can be a bit short of space, but a short walk from main road.

Seating positioned well to park, toilets, bbq.
Shade (manmade and nature) over most of the seating very good. Wonderful paved walkway around the park allowing for more picnic style dining surrounded by nature while looking out onto the lake. Great little bush trek for the young and old alike. A really great place to go with family, friends.
For me only 1 downfall and I would have given a four star but I understand this downfall is the fault of some dog owners not the place itself so I gave the full 5 star.
Please if out exercising your animals pick up your pets business.

Have been here a few times. Always enjoy the walk along the lake. Fun little skate ramp for beginner riders, right next to an outside public gym set. Also has bbq facilities and a playground for children, public toilets very modern and clean. Has shaded Gazebo. We enjoy coming here for a family bbq and catch up with friends. Highly recommend.

Fun for kids with playground, scooter area, sport area. Nice and very clean park. There are two bbq stoves available for free. Good place for fishing.
