Cherry Haven reviews
34We came to visit cherry haven with my family and friends but the old gentleman asked us very disrespectful did you paid online I replied no sir he told us turn around and leave I said sir we drove more than 3hrs by any chance can we get in there? He said I told you turn around, after that we found (blue hills) which was a fantastic place to visit we really enjoyed specially very respectful and very polite employees.
Not happy at all rude very disrespectful we drove more than 1: 45 minutes to visit this place with my 2 kids at front door we were told sold out turn around.
We visit this farm on saturday afternoon (29/12), really enjoyed our time, abundant ripe sweet cherries, heaps of cherries varieties, reasonable price, spacious parking area, great bonding activity for family. Our favorite cherry tree is vans 2003, very juicy and sweet. Wish the staffs were more attentive, we went to the wrong side of the entry, the three girls on duty didn't bother to tell us, they just look at us and said nothing. My only suggestion is: extra shaded area for picnics and shelter would have been perfect:)
Best cherry picking experience ever. Cherries are well grown and sweet. Enjoy meals in spacious open area while listening to songs sang by lovely lady. Food trucks selling assorted meals at affordable prices. Novelty cherry ice cream and 1 free cherry spritzer for each paid customer. Sufficient parking space and well organised customer service.
Was closed for picking for not suitable reason. We travelled miles and miles way, and returned with a disappointment.
Beautiful place and planty kinds of cherry.
Enjoyed and also learned a lot about cherries.
Amazing place for locals and foreigners. Massive farms, with reasonable entry fee. From parking to picking the experience was great. Highly recommended!
Wonderful cherries. I think people's experiences will differ year to year and even day to day. The main attraction is the 30 variants of cherries available including white cherries which our family loves. Only suggestion would be to have more space somewhere inside to sit down and have a picnic or rest. Maybe with some water? Theres a few tables outside and one big tree that gives shade inside the farm. Prices are reasonable. Definitely suggest going on a day that's not wet or too hot. Bring a hat! And something to sit on.
Cherry Haven is a great place for kids and adults to pick their own cherries. It is well signed posted coming into the property, lots of parking available, friendly staff who not only show you how to pick the cherries but also the best spots to find the perfect cherries! Toilet facilities were very clean and there is seating and a picnic area. Very reasonably priced.
The cherries themselves taste amazing!
We will be back again.
Big Juicy Cherries. Great value for money. Clean facilities and friendly staff. A Must do in the Yarra Valley. See you again
Nice cherries and juicy. Trees were not too high so we were able to pick up well. There are ladders with some trees so you can pick up cherries from the top of trees.
Wonderful place with nice staff, trees with fully load cherries. Nice place with little one and family.
Well managed cherry farm with nice staff. Cherry are reasonable priced. If a ladder can be provided for customers would be nicer. But i guess this will gives the farm more H&S issue.
Anyway, a good weekend outing place
Worst cherry farm i've eva been to, poor quality cherry, poor condition.pricing was reasonable only wasn't very happy about the poor quality cherry
