Chemist Warehouse St Kilda - Acland Street

Worst customer service I have ever received from a girl called Hannah today 26th of November between 2: pm to 2: 20pm, asked if store stocks the sea salt water eleven brand hair spray, she said No straight away, it shows on your website you do sell it. She then went to check if you do stock it and came back with the worst attitude to let us know st Kilda store does not but to try another store. So rude all questions that were asked her answers were disgusting, don’t even know what she is doing working in retail if she is going to treat customers that poorly and represent your brand.

No security guard following me around the store making me feel uncomfortable or giving me a dirty look for entering? Smaller than most but will drive past 2 to shop here instead.

The security guard followed me around like I was stealing. Gave me a dirty look when I purchased $80 worth of stuff. No need to to do that. Happened 21/12/2022 at around 3.40pm.

Large chemist with late opening hours, never had an issue with getting my scripts filled. They carry testosterone for FTM/Trans/ppl who require hormones - chemists themselves are professional and kind, staff can be slightly judgmental.

A young female pharmacist here is always cut and dry and rude, she should not be serving people.

This location has good service until you need to return something.

Bought a pair of 3.5 reading glasses and they were worse than my 2.0 pair. Tried to return them and was given grief, stating this the last time they'll return something for me. As they couldn't resell them they said. It's my second return in four years.

Taking my business to Priceline across the street.

Had a very similar experience to the last reviewer.

Counter unattended - rang the bell and a woman who was half asleep came to the counter after a minute or two.

Didn’t say anything except bark “$7.50” then tossed what I had bought back at me.

Would be a shoplifters paradise. The pharmacist seemed to be the only person in the shop who knew what they were doing.

Couldn’t speak highly enough of this store. Well managed, well stocked, well priced and always incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I had a particularly good experience today thanks to Thomas.

There was some confusion with the prescription as it was sent to a different Chemist Warehouse branch - which was closed at that time of the evening. However, as my medical condition seems to be bothering, the pharmacist - Naomi managed to contact the GP and issued medication. Extremely nice and helpful pharmacist.

The staff member I spoke with today was rude and unprofessional. The manager should consider reviewing the preparation of their staff in relation to dealing with customers with manners.

As far as CW stores go, I would call this one medium-sized. Have almost always found exactly what I needed; unless a product was legitimately out of stock. More importantly however, the staff have always been very friendly & helpful. It's been very worthwhile adding this store to my list of local favourites!

Went to this store the other day to buy a few things, and there were no staff at the counter, so I went to the back of the store to ask someone to serve me. The person I unfortunately asked seemed very lazy and not willing to help, if you don't like your job there quit, I'm sure there are plenty other people who would love to have your job! Overall terrible service and lazy staff, would much rather go to a different store with helpful wiling staff.

I went there as my regular pharmacy had closed early. Without a script they gave me a day's supply of my meds which was great. I had a specialist send in a script as soon as I could- and returned to collect the remainder of that script. They told me I was meant to come in the very next day and that they don't keep scripts that are sent to them for long as they don't have a facility to track scripts sent.

Chemist Warehouse may be a 'discount' pharmacy but I have been shopping with them for many years and I can assure you there is nothing cheap about the service they provide, and today was the same.
I really appreciate the great customer service I received here at the Acland St branch (over the phone and in person for a delivery) and I've had the exact same great experience at the CBD Midtown Plaza branch time and time and again.
It makes such a positive difference to feel like my needs are being met as best as possible, and I would never willingly shop anywhere else. Cheers!

The pharmacist is very rude!
I will be going across to Priceline to get all my scripted products off the pharmacist.

I believe there is a store cleaner named Troy, not only was he insanely unhygienic, but was immensely rude on being asked for help. When asked for help was sleeping on the floor, probably cleaning, did not even care to respond. I wish he had brains as big as him, Utterly disappointing, I have been to other chemists and I hope CWH can do better.

Regardless of what of the so-called moaning long term local residents here say about Chemist Warehouse? ! I'm very happy that it's here and it's welcome but unexpected surprise! I've lived here for over 38 years and this is probably one of the best franchise stores we've had in years maybe even decades? ! It's just great that for once down here we have a shop that's actually useful and gives value for money for once, the the 2 old variety shops that used to be here 30 years ago. It's alot more than just medicine, depending on the time of the year you may also find more useful stuff and they always have deals which is great. Beats all the other chemist shops we've ever had (from Priceline that used to be Coles New World/Cashies, to the St. Moritz current restaurant that used to be the very first chemist and lastly the one besides Woolies/Safeway). It has everything you need and more. Sure I'll miss the old Tandy store and I still do but this is more than welcome replacement though and we need more shops and franchising options like these! As long term local that beats out most, I'm saying that if the so called long term local shop owners (10 years? ! Sure lolz) don't like the franchise/corporations moving into our little strip? ! Then they can kindly rack off back to South Yarra or wherever they came from as they're a little cooperation of their own! Desperately need more shops and franchise like this and a mega shopping centre! Great stuff and it's a good start hopefully.

It's a new Chemist Warehouse opening in my local area and I need to say that I was not impressed by this chemist at all. I had to wait for more than 10 minutes to get my script filled when there was no other customer there. There was also no staff willing to help me when I needed help not to mention that the walkway is too small to walk through. The things they stock is good however I stiil prefer to shop at Priceline just across the road for their superior services.
