Chemist Warehouse Newmarket

The owner, Emily, was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful towards me when she blatantly took the word of her employee over mine in a bungled vaccination appointment time. I believe with her cold attitude towards well-meaning customers, she will experience high staff turn-over and possibly cause significant psychological harm to some of them. She needs trauning in social and emotional intelligence to protect herself, her staff, and her business.

Got a flu shot here. The pharmacist was very professional. The front of staff were friendly as well.

I was served by a young girl approximately 1.15pm, getting paid public holiday rates on Anzac day she could barely smile, hardly said a word on the register.

I needed my medication and it wasn't available near where I lived. They were wonderful holding it for me and helped me alot in my time of need

Had a lovely experience in this store, got help from this lovely worker Genevieve helped me with make up to find my correct colour that I have been trying to find. Great service.

I don't even live up this way, but can assure you that this chemist is definitely well stoked and very helpful pharmacists and customer service every single time I've had to use them

I do not usually write bad reviews, but the Pharmacist at New Market shop deserves special mentioning. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, angry with the customers. Suggest to use the near by pharmacy/s for your medication needs.
Staff on the floor and at the check outs are lovely and usually eager to help.

Very disappointed. Discrimatory staff and manager personally refused us entry to the store very rudely because we did not have a mask on. He refused to acknowledge some people have medical exemptions and cannot wear a mask. Very rude and does not deserve patronage

I have had the WORST experiences possible dealing with the pharmacists here. Not once or twice but multiple times by different pharmacists. They shame you for being on prescription contraceptives (I thought we were past this in this day and age), treat you like you've stolen the prescription off the street, and consistently overcharge you compared to what it says on their website.

Similar to other reviewers, I am not white. I am very surprised they are discriminatory against ethnics considering the large population of ethnic people in the area, who also work for them. Disgusting behaviour and malpractice.

They care more about the profit than the people. I wait for 15min to certify a document and the answer was "comeback in 15min, we are busy"

Sent GF to pick up diclofenac which is not scheduled, but an over the counter NSAID. While some questions are warranted, the unappeasable pedant of a pharmacist went to absurd lengths to place barriers to purchase said item. GF left without it.

Our local chemist was closed yesterday so I asked my friend if they could please go to chemist warehouse I have a condition called IgG4 it Meningococcal on the brain so I take some extremely powerful drugs like palexia and Fentanyl patches. He came home very upset saying that the woman that served him was so RUDE! To him. If you are not in this job to help people in need then move on or if YOU are having a bad day DON, T! Take it out on your customers. Shame on you lady! You know who you are! It was Monday 8th of June.

Awesome service, they didnt have my prescription in stock but ordered it overnight for me so i didnt have to travel far

Had two very concerning experiences here, the pharmacists decide to override my doctors recommendation everytime based on what I can only assume is discrimination. My first experience the pharmacist 'couldn't find' my prescription for codeine, but this miraciously appeared once I confirmed the doctor did in fact send it.very shady.
Today the pharmacist denied my prescription due to it being too early, regardless of the fact I have had a discussion with a doctor who issues this a few hours prior.
I hate to be the one to say it - but I don't think I would have had this experience if I wasn't a white guy!

Edit: Also checked my receipt & I have been charged $25.00 for 2 of my 50 pills.

Went here with a prescription for epilepsy medication and the pharmacist refused to give it to me. Apparently I had come too early (there was nothing on the script about a date I had to wait until) and they would not explain the issue. They didn't try to contact my doctor to confirm that everything was fine, I asked if I could have a couple days worth as it is dangerous to stop taking the medicine abruptly and they gave me far less than my dose yet charged me for a full 100 pack. They also confiscated the prescription and refused to give it back, which is not legal. Will never be coming back, similar to another review here - unsure if this would happen if I was white?

They ask if you want the generic brand but even if you say no they give you the generic brand anyway. Then it's too late they've already dispensed it and screwed you over.

Not helpfull at all. Asked them if i could order a product that i use regularly. They refused. Telling me to go somewhere else. I found this attitude alarmingly poor for a chemist. We are not talking about supermarket. This product is important to me. Absolutely chucked by such poor customer service!

Geat local chemist, clean and always friendly/helpful staff. One of the larger stores, with plenty of parking outside.

Don't understand why a pharmacy can get one script sooo wrong in that many ways, will never return. Poor.
