Chemist Warehouse Melbourne Midtown Plaza

The store staff, Jenny, overcharged me on 19 Jan 2024 at 7: 07 pm at the till04 machine, and luckily, I found the thing before I went home.
Then, I returned to ask for a refund, and the staff called another staff Volkan, to assist. When he came, I explained that the staff overcharged me and he could check the camera, and he just said “THINGS HAPPEN”.

I understand THINGS HAPPEN, but how about an apology? No apology? When you overcharge the guest, I thought that is basic customer service.
After Mr Volkan refunded me, I asked him if I could have my receipt, and he said he had to keep I said okay, but how could I prove I already
paid if you didn’t give me the receipt? Then, finally, he gave me the receipt.

For the whole conversation, you can discover his attitude is terrible, very rude and the facial impression shows he is impatient. Before I left, I told him he could be pay more respect and he didn’t have to show me a bad attitude. And he replied that I was yelling at him. And I am like, EXCUSE ME? I explained what happened when you came, and you thought I was yelling at you. Very interesting.

And did I mention, when he give me receipt, he throw on the desk, I was in shock, that’s why I decide to tell him, he need to be more professional.

Apparently the staff in this shop need more training regarding customer service.

I had an excellent experience with the pharmacist named Thai D. Their knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for my well-being were evident. They took the time to explain my medication, answered all my questions, and provided valuable insights. I appreciate the outstanding service and am grateful for their dedication to patient care.

So bad service
The cashier named Chai Yee charged me twice for one item, you guys really need to check on your receipt before leaving the store.

Came in to collect my items from a Click & Collect order with the impression the Click & Collect would allow me to skip the normal queue. There was definitely a sticker on the floor indicating a different line for Click & Collect.

I was however told to get in line in the normal queue just to collect my items by the CW staff and the security guard. If I have to do that, there would be very little point of ordering online through Click & Collect as I could have just picked the items myself from the shelves. I told the manager on the day but he didn't seem to care.

Gurdeep is a really nice and qualified duty manager, he tried his best to help me locate the stock using ladder and searched each box. He also helped arrange stock transfer and provided best solutions. He is patient and ready to help out any time.

Excellent customer service from the (I believe he was the shop manager), and his name starts with "Vo" if I dont remember wrong. (Unfortunately, I was rushing to leave and forgot his name.) I really appreciate the assistance from him. The way he approached unsatisfied customers was very professional. Great work!

The security guy was really rude, asking me to open my bag even the receipt was just in my hand. He told me to open my bag very loudly which really scared me……

Terrible experience at this store on 28 October.
I asked the pharmacist to advise me on medication. They suggested two but didn't tell me I can't take both at the same time (good thing I read the box and bottle).

Today, I went to get a refund for one of the medications. The female manager stood in front of me and asked her colleague "what does she want? " while pointing her finger at me. Then she asked me what time did I originally come into the store, and I said I didn't know exactly. She couldn't find the exact transaction so she said nothing and walked off.

Another man (Patrick) served me and resolved my issue. When I said I was quite offended by the woman's rude treatment, he ignored me, literally said nothing.

Best prices, all medicines and care products under one roof. Cramped stores, understaffed, some better deals available elsewhere for the same products.

In general I have good experience with Chemist Warehouse for years. However Chemist Warehouse got very defensive when I enquire about their return/exchange policy. As well as their unbeatable price claim. I’m sure so many customers asked looking at how defensive the cashier is. Because I can find a cheaper price online, from an international & reputable online platform L*z**a. So please check price online before you buy from Chemist Warehouse.

A guy named Xiang W was at the counter today and was very friendly, very good treatment to the costumer

Made me feel extremely uncomfortable by asking personal questions and asking to look through my bags.

I usually buy things in this store, today i just randomly pick up some discount items that are in $3 sections, when it scanned, the price is around 7-14$. And when i asked about it, the cashier call the supervisor or something (not sure). And she really rude… well i know i just bought some discount items but this is the first time ever that staff act really rude. Please, if you don’t want to work, just stay at home.

Decently stocked chemist - staff were friendly enough but the isles were extremely narrow and hard to find things

The service was awful! Went to refund for a product but the staff/manager in charge treated us rudely the moment she heard the word “Refund”! I don’t really care whether my product got refunded or not, but the manager in charge treat us like criminal! We do not own you anything!

Never ever come back here anymore! This is the first time Pharmacy didn‘t ask to change my medication and pack it really tight. It state in my prescription what the brand and name of the medication. He change it without asking.when I come back, they told me to get the right one and pay again!

I was bought medication few days ago but the Pharmacist is arrogant and no respect at all. Man! Go so many times this is my first time felt the service so bad. Disappointed!

On lower ground. It's a flight of stairs to find out there are no Rapid Tests. There is a large sign advertising the store at the top of the stairs. (The escalator was of order, so you hoof it down.). Once down the bottom you see the 'Out of Stock' sign. A simple sign up the top to save a walk up and down for nothing wouldn't go astray.

The most awful service ever
Even if you have to pay double the price, don’t buy anything from this place…
They don’t even know what is customer service…

Went into get a stat dec signed (with my gold coin donation and all) and was denied service by a pretty rude, unpleasant pharmacist by the name of Hong Yuen Y. He first claimed that they did not provide this service at all, and then changed his statement to all the pharmacists including him were busy and it would be at least a 30 minute wait for them to assist me, when there were no customers present at all except me, myself and I.

I left the store and went to Priceline, where the lovely pharmacist was super warm and welcoming, accepted my gold coin donation and signed my document in less than 10 seconds.
