Chemist Warehouse Heidelberg

Incompetent pharmacists. Both times I have consulted one here I have been bitterly disappointed. They have no knowledge of OTC medications or supplements.
Once I was sold there wrong thing that could have been dangerous, as no questions where asked. The next time I was told to see a naturopath when all that was required was someone when product knowledge. If they had this they would have made a sale.
This is a private business so you'd think the owner would care to upskill their staff.

Like others I went to post a review about the security guard, only to see that multiple people have also posted reviews about him going back at least a couple of yrs. I had called the manager to complain about his intimidating, antagonistic and threatening behaviour, when she informed me that the owner was aware as they have had multiple complaints, however the owner is ok with it as apparently he is great at preventing theft. I was quite stunned to realise that the security guards use of physical intimidation was considered acceptable. Honestly, if there was a register for perpetrators of domestic violence, guarantee his name would be on it. Just completely unacceptable behaviour from all involved.

Please don’t buy anything from this Chemist, I’ve purchased a blood pressure device, and unfortunately it was faulty and they don’t have any return policy and don’t care about the customer satisfaction!

They treat their customers like dirt. Can't follow simple instructions on a prescription and still have my interstate address on their records. Made me pay for an item that was their mistake in not charging me for 3 weeks ago and questioned my integrity. I will never shop here again, and I used to spend a lot of money in your business. You are dead to me, Chemist warehouse Heidelberg.

I continuously have such a great experience at this store. I get all my family’s scripts from here and I’m always impressed with the pharmacists attentiveness and friendly demeanours! I trust them and always feel like I can ask them any questions about my health or products (no matter how silly). There staff are also willing to help me when I’m not sure where a product is in the store. I highly recommend making this your regular pharmacy!

You're treated with no respect as a human, having a script for any medication that involves pain relief or mental health medications they talk amongst themselves unwilling to provide the scripts, but will say they can give you "enough for 2 or 3 days" if they didn't trust you to begin with why even give me that. I went here on a whim after running out of a pain medication, the online system tracts every script I get and the one time I have had to go to a different chemist I was treated like I had created the E-SCRIPT myself. Pathetic they are good for celebrity perfumes you didn't know were still alive and rude arrogant staff

Do not go here. Security Guard and staff will harrass you and try to force you to pay for things you don't want.

Don't go to any Chemist Warehouse in the Heidelberg area, especially if you are disabled, mentally ill or disadvantaged in some way. The pharmacists have treated me like I was something on the bottom of their shoe. And advice on treatment of conditions? Forget it, they won't bother. I was also accused of stealing something in the past with no evidence, no knowledge of what I'd taken, nothing. Disgusted and furious

So insult by the there security pick me out and so rude because I tried to pay upfront then sent the big tough guy to demand a old lady open her bag.

Been going to this chemist for years now and have always had a problem with the security guard. Follows me around every aisle and has accused me of stealing multiple times, makes me super uncomfortable and given by the amount of reviews about him, I don’t know why he hasn’t been fired yet. I wouldn’t go here if you don’t want to be stalked.

I was dispensed the wrong dose of medication, and didn't realise myself for a month.

They were helpful on the phone when I called to trace how long I had been on the wrong dose

The african security guy is the reason why I'll stop coming to this pharmacy, he's too arrogant and treat people like criminals, he's always following people around maybe thinking you're there to steal, it's so embarrassing honestly. I'm thinking he needs more training to be a security with respect for others.

I can't believe all the reviews. I came here to leave a bad review because of the security guard but seems like I'm not the only one. Is he even the security guard or does he actually own the place? Either way, he makes you feel very unsafe. He'll follow you to the aisle you're in and watch you at the end of the aisle. It's actually such a bad experience as a customer and his overbearing nature is quite triggering. It's not how you want to feel going to your local chemist. I've started going to the Rosanna one just to avoid this guy and might go to the Terry White from now on instead.

Omg! I'm reading the comments and it appears I'm not the first. Staff are lovely but there is indeed an overzealous security guard. I went into buy some lip balm and ended up having a browse while trying to locate it. Next thing I know the security guard is standing close to me at end of ailse and a staff member pops up to ask me if I want help (which I did, and they was lovely). After purchasing the product the security guard then asked to check my bag. I know they thought they was probably doing their job but I felt targeted (I was a little daggy in what I was wearing and had a big coat and a bulky bag from walking around all day but certainly no reason to warrent being made to feel like I was going to pinch stuff). The whole experience ruined my day and made me feel bad not looking nice which is ridiculous! I won't be going back to this store.

Like others, I had a horrendous experience with the security guard! As soon as I entered the store, the security guard started to follow and watch over me! I went into the skincare aisle (as I had intended to spend over $100 on items I needed) he came one metre close to my partner and me and just kept staring at my every move. How is this behaviour at all appropriate? I had done nothing to indicate that I was going to steal: I didn't even have a bag on me! He made me feel so uncomfortable and as if I was a criminal! A staff member from Chemist Warehouse was lovely and came up to me and asked if I needed any help, to which I replied it would be great if the security guard left me alone, as this wasn't the first time it had happened to me and I was sick of it! The security guard was so close to me that he even heard this! He then came up to me in an aggressive manner and said: "Did I say anything to you? Pipe down. " I was disgusted with how I was treated and walked out of the store. Serious training needs to happen, and that security guard needs to be disciplined for such horrible and unprofessional behaviour. I will be going to Rosanna Chemist Warehouse, where the security guard does their job right!

Can't say I love being chased out of store by the security guard asking to count the items ive legitimately purchased. Or being stalked through the isles. Happens every time and I'm pretty sick if it.

The security guard had already been rude to me a little while ago. I visited the shop today and he ran after me yelling 'can I see your bag? '. Customers looked at me in shock. I told him that it wasn't right to talk to customers this way. He just pointed out a sign saying that it was a condition of entry.

I have never been treated this way in any other shop. I won't return until the security guard receives proper training and learns good manners.

Does Management even read their online reviews? It looks like many other people have posted similar feedback about this employee.

I highly recommend Grace Pharmacy, just steps away from the Chemist Warehouse in Heidelberg. They provide the best customer service and Ramses is very knowledgeable.

The security guard is rude. Staring and following like I was a thief. Never come back again. So annoying.
