Avoid Avoid Avoid

You should be ashamed of your staff! I just called a politely called to see if a script via email had come in yet and was hung up on.

After confirming with my doctor it was, had to go down to get it filled. 7pm, store quiet & it took FOURTY FIVE minutes to fill. Absolute joke!

Awful service, awful staff. Prescriptions that are ordered via the app are not actioned until you arrive, so no point to even using the app.

A lost physical prescription with no explanation, no apology, no concern whatsoever from the staff.

When asking to talk to the senior pharmacist regarding the issues being advised it would be a 15 minute wait they clearly don’t have any care about customer satisfaction.

Slowest pharmacy ever been like that for a while. Many staff in the pharmacy section but very inefficiently used OR lack of training. I see many comments on the same situation here but seems ChmistWherehouse management keeping a blind eye. I think the management need changing if I had to give zero star I would!

This pharmacy is awful and I don’t know why I keep going back.
I worked in a very, very busy coastal pharmacy for a number of years, but we never had the wait times this pharmacy has. There is no sense of urgency and they really just need to hire more staff in the dispensary.
I went in to get a new Ventolin today for my husband because the one he uses maybe three times a year had expired. I was refused by the pharmacist because ‘he needs to have tests’. When I explained that he has and he literally uses the ventolin three times a year when he gets a cold or something flares it up, he still wouldn’t allow me to have one. I completely understand people abuse these things, but he could clearly see that the one I returned for recycling was nearly full. I left in tears - what am I supposed to do next time my husband is short of breath? ! He didn’t seem to care when I told him that. I will not be going back.

This has got to be the slowest CWH pharmacy out there, how it takes more than 30 minutes to prepare a script is beyond me. On top of that, for some reason this store always hands out medications in batches instead of one by one, so yours may be ready but you'll have to wait until 4 other people's are too.
The pharmacists don't even speak to you, the customer service is so poor. At the bare minimum they could explain the wait times but everyone just ignores the huge line of customers. I left my script and came back after an hour and still had to wait to pickup my meds. Avoid if you value your time.

Don't ever go to the Coburg store. The place is always a mess, and it took them 20 minutes to put a sticker on a box. Only 2 or 3 people waiting before me. They had 5 or 6 people on their stage busily doing something. Never again.

I only went for the first time last week and went back today. One of the staff members was very helpful. The friendly customer service was paramount. I normally go to the Northland branch but I will be definitely going to Coburg more often as I work in Brunswick. Coburg is on my way home to Reservoir. Thanks once again to the team at the Coburg branch.

Never have anything in stock. Always have to go preston chemistwarehouse.
Also on one occasion they said we can't do pricematch because if it's not in stock in woolworth. I explained that its not in one woolworth but could be present in another woolworth. At least I know how it works otherwise Checkout person could have charged me full price. Don't feel like going there again inspite of walking distance to my house. South East was always the best when I lived there. Never had any problem.

I have been going to this chemist for a while now and I have had such lovely service no matter what I needed. They have given me great service when I get my medication monthly, aswell as when I get my flu Shot. Unfortunately, today I was met with the opposite, I felt judged for what I was picking up. The pharmist laughed noticeably at the prescriptions I presented. After waiting for a couple of minutes they told me they couldn't help as they only had 1 of my scripts in stocks but It was the more expensive one, implying I should leave. When I asked how much the expensive one was they told me that they couldn't dispense it as they actually didn't have enough of what I needed.
I'm disappointed that I left feeling so judged and belittled. As someone struggling with mental health this was not helpful at all. I understand being out of stock but I also expect to be treated like a person.

Thank you for having the music volume on low. No loud advertisement in every single isle. I will shop here just for the peace and quiet.

Management from other stores please don’t overload our nervous system with loud commercials.neurodiverse people become very effected. People in pain and sick generally don’t want loud noises to give them even more of a headache

Staff at the back have no sense of customer service. Long waiting times before I could leave a prescription and later waiting for the medication to be delivered. I could only explain this is because they seem to enjoy idling and talking amongst themselves instead of actually working?

Worst Pharmacy, waiting time just to drop off a script is ridiculous, pharmacy staff chatting to one and other while customers stand waiting and waiting, twice in resent times I just gave up and went to another Pharmacy. Never going back to Chemist Warehouse Coburg.

Just really bad customer service from the Pharmacist himself at the Coburg market branch this afternoon. The rest of the staff are super friendly, but this guy is just outright RUDE! And as a result I ended up having to leave without picking up my children’s asthma medicine. I guess that’s not important for pharmacists like him who will tell you things like “I don’t want to argue with you…” when all you are doing is explaining something to him.

I don’t do a lot of shopping here but I use the click and collect. Helpful staff and very friendly. Feel safe with a security guard on site. Thank you Chemist Warehouse.

Shop staff are great but you expect better from the one’s dispensing medications.
Numerous times they give you meds for what you specifically say not to fill. They keep scripts or give you back wrong copies.
One wonders what they do with all the unfilled scripts. Their attitude is appalling and simply disgraceful when you highlight a mistake they’ve made. They get defensive and can’t admit they’ve made a mistake!
Then they have the nerve to wish you well with in the most demeaning nasty way.
Wake up dispensers thinking you are above the rest, come back down from your high horses and show some respect
Disgusting service with attitudes to match!

The night pharmacist azard was on, I tried to get my document certified as during the day is more busier and have been told to come back later. When I asked him after waiting 10 minutes to be served that he didn’t have time and to go somewhere else, he only had 3 customers and was shutting me down as I know the certification only requires some stamping and actual proof but he insisted that there’s so many steps and paperwork to do and he didn’t want to do it, yet the chemist across the road was extremely busy with one Pharmacist yet still gave me the time of day, Azard was rude and ignorant and if he wanted to he would give me the time of day and if he couldn’t how to handle a heavy load of work he is presented with he shouldn’t have the job, disgusting behaviour seeing as my nan and myself have been coming to the chemist since it opened and completely disgusting service I doubt I’ll come back after that

I have historically used the services of the Chemist Warehouse Group, along with other Pharmacy Groups. In the last 14 months I have had several incidents of poor customer service across a variety of stores in the CBD and inner Melbourne. These extended to staff refusing to assist me locate and select non - prescription items of the shelf following a visit to a Specialist and the Eye & Ear Hospital. It was more disturbing as I was not able to physically see due to allergies and swollen eyes. I waited over 30 minutes in a near empty store and had to ask up to 5 times for Pharmacist assistance. I had historically been given the wrong items by Pharmacists and Pharmacy staff and items were not placed in my shopping bag, requiring a return visit.

Yesterday I attended the store along with my Mother to have a Police Check and documents certified by a Pharmacist. Upon enquiring about the availability of such service, the Pharmacist advised that he had to attend to scripts, please take a seat. I politely asked how long he would be. He responded, 'Go down the road to an Independent Pharmacy, they are not busy. '

I left the store along wih my Mother, they were her documents. I will not be returning. Why? The Chemist Warehouse Group is happy to take your Prescription and OTC money. They refuse to provide a comprehensive, accurate and safe Pharmacy offering to the community.

For completeness, the same Male Pharmacist just moments before when fulfilling the script for a retired Turkish couple enquired where they were travelling. They stated X city. The Pharmacist then indicated his Greek Grandmother was from the same city, however it was called XX under the former Empire. Professional conduct would have suggested the Pharmacist leave this matter there, but he persisted to insist it was called XX because it was part of the former Empire. The retired Turkish couple politely took their medicines and stated to him that 'We want peace. '

The Chemist Warehouse do not support the employment of diverse talented Women in Australia or abroad. I encourage the Community to use the services of other Pharmacies based on these experiences until they significantly address these matters.

This is not the first Customer review I have provided the Group.

If I could give zero stars I would. I clicked onto your website this morning to see how I could go about making an appointment for a covid -19 vaccine booster. It had detailed online that the coburg store does not take bookings online and therefore I had to call if interested in making a booking. Upon calling the number given on the website I was directed to a lady for another department who was in charge of processing my booking. This lady I spoke to was so lovely, explained to me that the pharmacists working at the coburg store was in charge of making the bookings and that she will forward me onto them. Of which she did, I was forwarded to the coburg store we’re I then came into interaction with the rudest, most unpleasant person I have ever spoken to.

This person, whoever it was on line “2” after selecting this option, was unprofessional, extremely rude, and down right unhelpful. Didn’t give me any insight into how I could go about making an appointment, was extremely dismissive and should not be working in customer service. As someone who works in healthcare I would be disgusted if I knew someone like that was handling calls and bookings from my healthcare centre. This lady needs a reality check and maybe another job as she sounded completely miserable over the phone. Told me that they don’t actually offer the vaccine, and only do it when they feel like it. What sort of nonsense is that. Couldn’t believe this lady.

Absolutely worst customer service everrrrrrrr
They send you text msg with confirmation that the meds are ready for pick up but they never ready
Whats even more hilarious is when you show them the text they can't even fund your meds and on top ask your name 5 times and still they can't @#$$ find it coz they never been dispensed and when I asked why send text msg confirmation if they aren't ready? No answer from them
Been going there for past 15yrs and just had enough
Finally I've decided not going there ever again
Not only you've lost a long time customer but also ill not recommend anyone to go there for sure
Such a disappointment
