We went that 80th birthday party, it was exerlent. Food was good and we really enjoyed it.

Very humble and welcoming golf club.the pro staff and the members are awesome people. I felt warmly welcome. The course located in a prominent sand belt area so I can feel the ambiance. Green are kept maintained as well as the fairways.enjoying my morning golf here.

Great place to play a round of golf. Thoroughly enjoyed bothe golf and the clubhouse afterwards!

Great course, close to everything, little on the expensive side comparatively to other public courses

Dont play on a Sunday there is no order to tee off times and your booking time means nothing. We have left twice with a refund. God help you of there is a comp day because you may get on around 4 pm! Total s### show!

We'll presented course, not too hard, but challenging. Friendly service in clubhouse & overall good value for money.

Before an exchange match at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, we went around the 9 holes together in a cart during practice the day before We were able to make reservations even in the afternoon, and the staff and members were all very kind

It was very sandy with certain areas of the course closed. The ground was a little rough in spots. But still good customer service, nice 19th hole.

Very nice course with good management and care for a public course. Very reasonable fees for a well catered course.

My 1st visit, and I was impressed by the presentation of the club, I will try and play it, if paying fees players are allowed, at present it is being used as practice facilities for the Australian open

Perfect 9 hole track. Sometimes gets a bit busy and slow, but the fairways and greens and especially bunkers are always in great condition. Super friendly vibe and a challenging course.

Great 9 hole public golf course, well maintained and very well priced. I take good advantage of the midweek afternoon offer, particularly in summer.

Challenging on a cold and rainy day a well maintained course and the greens are up there with the best love it

I’ve been here many times and have not had problems, but i went today with 3 mates.we are all 17 and i feel like the fact we were young influenced a staff member and other golfers that we were just there to mess around and cause trouble.we went to the first hole at our tee time and we had to wait 20 minutes to take our first shot as the group of 4 in front of us were extremely slow.as we took our shots, an elderly staff member came up to us in a golf cart and said that we’re taking too long.he even questioned if we’ve payed.he then asked us to skip the entire first hole, so for the day we payed for 8 holes instead of 9.we then spent the rest of the day rushing and running to our shots as we were heavily pressured into hurrying up while the people in front of us who caused this whole problem are taking around 15 minutes per hole, while our group are getting all the blame because we are young while the people in front of us remain unharmed as they are adults.i’m not rating it 1 star as i’ve been here before and haven’t had any problems but todays experience has rendered 25 odd dollars useless.

We just moved up the road and my husband was so excited to play here and eventually become a member. He tried calling 5 times yesterday and kept getting hung up on. He finally booked today and when we arrived the older man at the club house looked me up and down and said "you're not playing are you? " UM.yes I am. He said I couldn't wear the clothes I had on even though it's not my first time playing (I may not have brand name golf clothes but I am wearing a skirt and top with running shoes) which he then saw and said. "Okay well you know this is quite difficult, it's 9 holes" UM we know, please learn customer service. Great way to get members. Started off with a very bitter taste in my mouth but tried to enjoy the day for my husband. He also then proceeded to tell my brother when he arrived to not let us play through (not realising he was with us). Some old golf elitist. Extremely rude. Won't be coming back.

We were lucky enough recently to hold a function at Cheltenhan Golf Club recently for a wedding and 50th Birthday celebration. I cannot recommend the venue enough, not only is it a beautiful venue, the staff went above and beyond to make our special night even more special, we will definitely be back and it will be our go to for special occasions!

We were at a function, combined Wedding/50th Birthday tonight. And the event was great, so happy for my friends BUT staff took away my 3/4 full drink 3 times! 3x paid for drinks - mostly full gone! I complained after the 1st time but they weren't fussed. We got up from our table for speeches.plates drinks handbags all there, came back 3/4 full Drink was gone ‍️ Dirty plates were not!
Then later outside on terrace sitting next to my drink (1/2 can + glass/ice) both 1/2 full REMOVED glass. Then staff came back & asked about my can, this is when I realised they'd taken a 1/2 full glass. Who does that? I'm drinking it!
We moved inside to have 1 last dance as night was slowly coming to an end left my 1/2 can next to my bag & went to dance - once again drink taken!
Sure clean away empty glasses etc. BUT these were almost full

Cheltenham golf course and club was a very good experience. The front line staff at the proshop were very friendly and helpful also welcoming.

The course is a tight 9 hole course with two tee boxes to make it an 18 hole golf course. This course may not be long in distance but with the natural undulations of the fairways make it a strategic golf course. It's all about position when playing each hole. When the respect is gone and the Driver comes out beware there is a big chance you may be in trouble for your second shot.
Another protection for the course is the elevated greens, not big but slick enough to command respect.

The club house is also a great place to gram a drink and have laughs with friends after the round. Great 19th hole.

Highly recommend f you have not already to give us beautiful sand belt golf course a game.
