Chelsea Kebab House

Best around the area, the lamb meal is always a go to and never disappoints. I have even bought and reheated it for later as it outperforms late night offerings in the area.

As some mentioned if you're used to heavy seasoning then you might find this different but I think they used enough to let you actually taste the meat and two be able to eat the whole thing without getting sick of it.

EDIT: BRING BACK THE TURKISH BREAD. It was the only thing seperating you from other kebab. I will change my review back to 5 starts when it's back.

Ordered open platters and asked for no dip and added chips. Got home and found they’d included dip in the platter and had only put about 12 chips in. At a price of $19+ each they’re more expensive than a nearby alternative and don’t fill up the container like the alternative store does! Won’t be back - no value for money!

Until recently they had delicious homemade turkish bread - was a real standout compared to so many other kebab places in Melbourne and the reason for me recommending this place to many and coming back often although I live by the cbd.

Now they've changed the bread for some purchased, tasteless alternative. This makes the kebab taste so much more average when it was amazing before.
Changing my review from 5 to 3 stars. Overall still not bad but just not great anymore. Such a shame.

First time we try today we were Hungary and this is the only Halal restaurant in chelsea when we get our take away order we fine our there is no fork's or spoons to eats food was ok but this mistake makes us less enjoing the food

Been here quite a few times - always consistent food and very quick service! Kebabs are great in Turkish bread (good portion, although not huge) and the HSPs are super tasty, fairly cheap too ($13.5 for a small)

Good staff.nd good food. Bt when I asked to use washroom they told no. Even though it was there.restaurant nd restroom is necessary thing.don't know why they told me no to use.it.

The chicken meal is amazing. I drive out of my way for it. The rice and so yummy the bread it amazing and meat is delicious and the yogurt cucumber dip is so creamy. Don't need to change anything. Just amazing

Best meat in this part of the street, not bad.good HSP. The frivolous flavours and rambunctious river of condiments complimented the chippyness of the chippies. 4/5 We still alive.

If you’re ever looking for a satisfactory kebab shop in Chelsea conveniently located between a discount gift shop and a Vietnamese restaurant I would first question why your tastes are so specific, I would then recommend Chelsea Kebab House.

Fresh food, staff was ok but didn't seem to want to talk or explain a bit more about the food selection available. The kebabs that we ordered taste ok, but I think a bit more seasoning is required.

Bought a hsp from here yesterday for $17 with extra meat, then the next day ordered the same thing BUT the price went up to $22.50 not worth it.once I confronted the owner he was very aggressive and rude, wouldn’t recommend to buy it.

19: 00-20: 00. Service team handled customers promptly and sent out orders within a reasonable time with the volume of people looking for dinner. Haven't been to Chelsea before, I might very well return here.

Great Kebabs and flat bread- Dips are excellent. One conern, picked up takeaway last week, end of September 2020, Covid 19 restrictions, proprietor wearing a mask below mouth, he sneezed, was not so keen to pick up order! Walked past today, 26 Sept 20, proprietor still not wearing mask properly, on but below chin, staff wearing properly. Come on lift your game, I mean mask as the food is great.
