Chef Kim's Noodle Bar reviews
19It was literally oily noodles no flavour and no veggies or meat, just a handful of veggies at that.really disappointing
Absolutely terrible and vile! Everything was frozen seafood and meet microwaved no flavour at all discussing! I have never left food before but I couldn't even take another bite after the first I threw everything out! This is why they only do take away. So once you get the horrible food home you can't be bothered taking it back for a refund. And overpriced yuk yuk and yuk please don't eat here as you will get food poisoning.
Terrible tonight. $100 wasted. Absolutely overcooked dry and over done with the vinegar, sweet and sour chicken and pork $20 each at that. Burnt omelette, tasteless fried rice. Noodles were ok. Please take care when cooking, tonight was a treat for our family and it was a big let down.
Super-quick, generous main course servings and a menu that literally takes up the whole wall. You cannot say that you do not have enough choice, with practically every type of Asian meal available with any combination of meats, sauces, rices and noodles. Whatever your fancy, these guys will pinky together for you in a matter of minutes.
Fantastic if you’re looking for a speedy dinner on the way home from work; drop your order in via the app when you’re somewhere near Werribee Plaza and by the time you get to Hogan’s Corner it will be ready and waiting for you.
You have the choice of the food being presented as “just” what you ordered in a large lidded bowl, or you can specify to add plain or fried rice to make each bowl into a full take-out meal for one (or, more like it, for two. The servings are generous and a single main course, with rice, would satisfy two adults unless they were the type of people who argue about needing a third large pizza to feed two people.)
If you’re a local and need to know if they’re open, drive past. If the door’s open, they’re cooking.
Sorry to say have given this place a 2nd change and food is sub standard. Possibly the worst noodle bar I have ever visited. This latest meal is much like the first I ordered last week a noodle and very little else. Extremely disappointing. Never again for me.
Disappointed today. Usually quite happy with meals, been here several times. Ordered Mongolian Beef. Beautiful sauce, a lot of vegetable, virtually no beef. No really, there were only about a dozen small pieces in total but loads of cauliflower. Fried rice a little lean on bits too. 3 Stars because of previous good meals. Please keep the good quality of your meals even if you have to put prices up. Disappointed.
Love this place! It’s always good and a regular favorite of ours when we feel like noodles. They use good quality meat, fresh crisp veggies and strong flavored sauces (not watery like some places).
Combination Omelette with Red rice Salt and Pepper calamari.
Food was fast and cheap so I really shouldnt complain. The omelette is a mish mash of various meat like items with clumps of carrot and mixed veggies served on rice. Could do with some sauce and some seasoning, I doubt the singed bits were intended to add any sort of flavour.
So 2022 now and this photo has hit 600k views thats better than that meal was. Would like to give them a try again now.
The calamari was woolworths frozen section deep fried and poorly drained with no salt or pepper along with some really bland slightly reddish tinged rice.
Not likely to go back or recommend to a friend unfortunately.
Tried first through menu log and the discovery of location meant we go straight to shop. The rice dishes are the best the portions huge and so tasty and seasoning bang on
Rice dishes were mushy and bad, took 50 minutes to get my food of 3 dishes. The batter was clearly cooked in old and used oil
Great food stop, so many selections. While not exactly 100% authentic - more of a mass production Aussie style food, they are still pretty good for a typical Asian food take away. Never had a problem with their food. More of a take away than an eat in restaurant.
The food the services absolutely awesome.
Love going here for takeout with the family.
Friendly family run takeaway shop. Plenty of menu to choose from. You can order online and pay in-store which is handy.
I ordered crispy pork on rice and a side dish of crispy wontons (8 pieces).
The order was promptly dispatched and it was off home for lunch with the wife.
The food? Not great.
The wontons, though crispy, contained virtually no filling.
The crisp free pork was like rubber.
We plan to at least salvage the rice for dinner.
Fabulous mee goreng, and hokkien mee. Friendly, fast, good value, large serves. Only gripe, too much onion in each dish. Will return for sure.
Chef Kim is the best. Always welcomes customers with a smile on their face. Lovely family owned business. Taste is the best and they have really good varieties
The food was great (vegan options), very friendly staff, quiet environment. Wonderful experience!: D
Great Chinese take away restaurant, great food and extensive menu. The staff are always friendly and have never had any issues with my order. Keep up the great work! 5/5
Unfortunately have to give minimum 1 star. This place deserves -5 star. Ordered a vegetarian dish but the dish had meat in it. Refused to refund or even remake. Will never come back again. This place has no sense of customer service.
