I had my husbands family stay here during my wedding, the property is beyond beautiful and the owner was so accommodating and lovely. We will be back here

Absolutely stunning location to host our weekend meditation retreat. Everything was arranged and provided for us. All we had to do was show up and enjoy. Thank you Linda and Cheeky Fox Retreat.

Our fourth stay at Cheeky Fox, and it was another wonderful weekend for our group. A big thanks to Jason and Linda for being gracious hosts, providing excellent winery tips, and organising the roaring fire on our arrival (a lovely touch on a wintery weekend). We're already planning our next stay!

We recently stayed at The Cheeky Fox with a group of friends and could not recommend this place more highly. The facilities were fabulous and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. Linda was great to deal with and the breakfast provisions left for us were much appreciated. Views from the house are amazing and added to the ambience of a great weekend catching up with friends. Will definitely be returning.

This property is filled with true 'wow factor'. From the setting to the private pool, to the ample space for everyone to relax or to get together to watch a movie in the incredible cinema room! We weren't left wanting for anything. Lisa has thought of everything. So many thoughtful touches throughout the massive house (retreat).

Cheeky Fox is so close to walking tracks, playgrounds, amenities and the pub (where we had a delicious meal)!

Talk about a perfect getaway! This was just incredible.

Highly Recommend! A group of 10 adults stayed at Cheeky Fox Retreat over Easter 2021 and we cannot rate our experience highly enough. It exceeded all expectations. The property owners Linda & Jason were fabulous hosts in every way, even providing a buggy ride for a few that were unable to enjoy a walk around the property. The house was sensational and everything we needed was available for our use. The views were spectacular, especially watching the sunrise in the mornings. It really was a wonderful break and we will definitely return for another stay. 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, solar heated pool and cinema room! There was nothing we could fault except that our stay was not long enough!

Goodness - Where do I begin? The Cheeky Fox Retreat was absolutely beautiful - both inside and out. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 kids, and everyone was absolutely in awe of the place. As other reviews have said, the photos available on their website do not do it justice.

Linda and Jason were very communicative and absolutely helpful. They assisted us with finding local caterers (the grazing box of cheese and deli meats from My Little Country Kitchen is highly recommended!), gave us a beautiful welcome, and even offered for the kids to feed the sheep (unfortunately, we couldn't take up the offer as we had a full wedding itinerary to stick to).

It is absolutely amazing that the Cheeky Fox Retreat has its own cinema and audio room. The kids loved watching Frozen 2 on cinema-level lounges and a big projector screen. The pool with the gorgeous field (with sheep!) and mountainous backdrop was such a joy.

There were plenty of bathrooms to cater to the group. Other useful things to note for groups like ours: There were 2 large fridges, BBQ, towels provided, a spa in one of the bathrooms, 1 double and 1 single bed in all of the rooms.

The master bedroom with adjoining ensuite was lush! The views you get from the room truly hit the mark for us - only if we had many more nights to enjoy the summer night and the stars.

The Kinglake shops and petrol station are a 5 minute drive away. The gents in our group also visited the Kinglake whiskey distillery closeby.

The house is ideal for a large group and ahs everything you need. It is very peaceful and the views are lovely.

We recently had a five night family holiday at Cheeky Fox Retreat to celebrate two milestone birthdays. What a magnificent time we had! The house, its presentation and its location exceeded our expectations in all respects. All that a group of six adults and three children could want was provided (even the sheep and the fox) while the views from the bedrooms and the back verandah were priceless. To watch the sun rise over the ranges at dawn from these vantage points was an experience not to be missed. It's a wonderfuli place to relax and forget about the cares of the world but what made our experience so much more memorable were the lengths to which Linda went to make us feel welcome and at home. Nothing was too difficult; from making sure everything was in order on our arrival and during our stay, to organising the superb inhouse dinner and breakfast box for the birthday folk and to introducing us to the the property's walking trails, all was done effortlessly and with outstanding care. Thank you again Linda, we'd rate our experience a 10 if we could because it was that good. We'll be back!

An absolute treat. Stayed here last weekend with nine friends, and it was perfect. A beautifully designed home with so very many large bedrooms and shared spaces. Set on 50 acres, and surrounded by gorgeous views.
Linda and Jason are the perfect hosts, and they generously shared their morning walk with their Border Collie, Fitz. They also provided a lavish platter of charcuterie, cheese and dips.
The kitchen is very well appointed, with a Smeg range and oven, plus coffee machine, convection microwave and dishwasher. There is also a pool and a cinema room, or as I prefer to call it "the nap room".
We're already booked in for our next visit. Better get in while you can.

This is the second time we have stayed at Cheeky Fox. An amazing place with great views and quiet surrounds. Very well kept, friendly and accommodating hosts. Highly recommend for all groups.

Linda and Jason are lovely hosts, so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed walks around their stunning property, relaxing by the fire, soaking up the sun on the veranda, having beautiful wine tasting with Cathy from Sutherland Wine Estate and amazing celebration diner prepared by Ange from My little Country Kitchen.
The homestead exceeded our expectations.

Although the weather was not what we hoped for (wood heater going for 3 days straight in my dole of Jan) we still had a great family holiday. Set on 50 acres the house was perfect and the group dining and cinema room got a workout. Walks through the bush each day and a swim on Sunday when the sun broke through we’re just some time f the highlights. Although our 6yo grandson enjoyed riding his pee wee in the paddocks. Our host Linda was very accommodating and nothing ng was too much trouble. Cheeky Fox is a great family holiday destination.

We've hosted several Yoga & Wine Retreats at Cheeky Fox and we highly recommend this house for anyone looking to escape from the stresses of daily life:) The location is amazing, the owners are wonderful and the house itself is really well equipped and has everything we needed to make our stay (and that of our guests) super comfortable. Already booked in for the next Yoga retreat and I am sure that won't be the last one. Thanks Linda and Jason!

This place is fantastic. We cannot rate it highly enough. It easily accommodated our group of 10 people – the house was wonderful and felt luxurious. It was the most well equipped house our group has stayed in, and the heating meant that at no stage did we feel the cold. We had perfect weather and waking in the morning to see the sunrise from our bedroom window was spectacular, as were the rest of the views. Linda and Jason were great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and our morning walk with them and their dog was a lovely experience. We are looking forward to our next stay, which we have already booked. Thank you Linda and Jason.
