Cheeky Chewies Cafe reviews
68 I found this place to be overpriced I ordered a side of bacon for $5 and it was the smallest peace I have ever got so disappointed.
Thay didn't have a up to date printed manu and we hate to right down our order on a peace of paper and hand it to the staff I found that abit lazy from the staff.
The only good thing was that the food was good.
Made an order at the shop with the owner himself earlier in the day for dinner delivery which was over $60 for them to then miss the kids meal, I called and told them and he said it's ok we make it now and bring it which meant my daughter would of had to wait an other hour for her dinner which we where not going to do so he said he'd replace it with 2 coffees. I went to get the coffees and they knew nothing about it and made me look like I was just trying to get free coffees to then I get the worst most discusting tasting coffee I've ever had. Shame on this place don't waiste your money.
Food here was truly amazing! Packed full of flavour. Staff were friendly and easy going. Small play area for kids (much to do in the play space but well looked after) toilets are at the back of the building but closed in with fencing. Recommend a parent goes with child just to be on the safe side. Will definitely be going back
Oh my god! Chips were better than a a fish & chip shop, chicken ribs were full of flavour, the waffles with popping pearls were amazing!
A hidden gem! 10/5 stars!
Top place. Ordered 2 burgers here today. The staff go the extra mile, one of us has a sesame seed allergy so they kindly sorted us out with a waffle burger and it was a total winner! The burgers are huge. The burger patties wouldn't win a gourmet contest but at the price they are outstanding. Will definitely be back)
Interesting mix of North Asian, South East Asian and Western menu items, including great Japanese influenced noodles and an Aussie big breakfast.
Friendly staff, amazing Asian and western food and a great place to bring kids with the separate play area
Food is sensational.flavour explosion in your mouth. Really well priced and staff are very friendly. Will be back
Really great food and staff, But just from watching, the manager is quite rude to staff which made us feel uncomfortable while dining.
At first, I was a bit sceptical because of the location. But the genuine, friendly service and food sang this little restaurant praises!
Their Lunch and Dinner menu has clear Malay roots with Nasi Lamak and Sambal Crispy Fish (picture). At first taste, we were transported back to Pulau Langkawi with visions of driving around on a two person scooter touring local eateries.
Their Burgers and Ramen also looks well composed and a must try. It was brought to our attention that the breakfast menu is an "adventurous" must try too.
The prices are very reasonable and unpretentious. To add, a kids meal with a drink, a fruit and a toy for $10 was too attractive to pass by for our little one. I think we've just found a new "local" haunt.
Cheeky Chewies Cafe, it's okay at best. It's usually quite loud it is also quite a small so I wouldn't recommend dining in usually just get takeaway coffee when I'm parking as there is a very limited cafes in the area. There was another cafe to compete with it I'm not sure this one would win considering average customer service experience and quite average coffee not worth the money.
I've had brunch and dinner here and loved both. Interesting menu with really tasty food. Also the staff are very friendly. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend
Friendly service and lovely coffee. I am a frequent visitor here and am always happy with my meal. Their dumplings are great, laksa is divine. You cannot go wrong here.
Highly recommended restaurant! Stumbled across the restaurant while heading to Avalon airport The laksa is a must especially for the cold winter night! Delicious and unique! Very quick, efficient service with very friendly owner and staff! Ambiance is very warm and bright! Would definitely return, even tho I’m based on the complete opposite side of city!
Visited Cafe while on a road trip from Sydney. Very authentic M'sian and Japanese food. Service was fantastic and the owner (didn't ask for his name) was very friendly and attentive to the customers and the female waitress was polite and helpful. Definitely highly recommended!
My favorite local cafe who make the best chicken curry katsu. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome:)
Feat. Poke` bowl ️️
Cosy, variety of funky titled fusion dishes, very friendly staff, small play area for kids
Food ***
We luv the ambiance
Been here 3 times in 2 weeks
Bit pricey**
Chicken Laksa had lesser chicken pieces as compared to elsewhere***
Nasi lemak: rice was not moist enough***
Rest of dishes were good****
The place is lovely. Customer service: 5 stars, always taking care of the client. Food: delicious, a variety of drinks and dishes, yummy. I will be back.
Very very nice food. Something new to try. Benny on holidays was amazing. I did not expect much from a variation of eggs Benedict but this was beyond my expectation)
Really nice atmosphere. The food was good, but nothing amazing. The ramen was lacking in flavour but the chilli garlic chicken was nice. Would come back to try something else based on the atmosphere alone.
