11It’s really delicious, our whole family loves it! The meat is delicious. It is recommended to rinse it in 8 seconds according to the instructions~
How can such a disgusting hotpot restaurant continue to operate? It's all frozen meat, it's terrible!
Visited this authentic chaoshan beef hotpot restaurant with my family the other day. Food quality was on point, not to mention that it is very budget friendly. All their beef are hand sliced in store. Out of all cuts, hump was my favourite.
One of the best hotpot’s in Melbourne I reckon. If you like Sichuan style hot pot, this one is different from that but so so much better and somehow cheaper considering they using good cut, fresh meat instead of your normal frozen meat. Must try!
Went here last night with my partner. We got the spicy, special beef and chaoman soup. The soups were light and not oily. The beef was fresh and they have free dipping sauce station. The spicy soup was my favourite it wasn’t too spicy and was more aromatic. The chaoman soup had a very neutral flavour base and the bitter melon inside was actually nice and not too bitter. It was great to cook the meat in and I didn’t have issues with my sauce messing with the soup flavours. The special beef soup was good as well. I spent about $94 with three types of beef, pork belly, oyster mushroom, king mushroom, Chinese cabbage, quail eggs, and fungus. The food isn’t heavy like sichuan hotpot so we left feeling satisfied despite having so many toppings. Would recommend to anyone who wants hot pot but doesn’t like spicy and oily foods
Great place to visit when you want beef! Experience was great and tasty flavour and it is personalised hot pot.
Beef was great. However the "soup" was extremely bland, tasted like water. Free drinks were bland too. Portions were acceptable.
The two stars were only for the quality of the beef and the free condiments.
Good if you don't want to do the washing after hot pot at home. Otherwise just buy your own quality beef and and save a trip to here.
Do not reccomend.
Service is not good
Food is not good for the price you pay.
The restaurant was empty and it took ages for our food to come.
I liked the concept but soup quality and variety of food to put in wasn't the greatest, it's wasn't very busy but service was kind of slow too.
Our family loves this place, fresh beef, tasty soup base, and the most important thing is they are pretty cheap compared to other hot pot places. Their beef are thinly sliced that can be cooked in a few seconds, tender and juicy, my 3yo daughter can eat them easily without any chewing struggles. The only thing needs to be improved was their services, I think they need more staffs to work on busy nights, sometimes it can takes a while to get services because they are just so busy. If you want some good time with your family and little ones here, better go there on weekdays. Worth to try!
Very slow service and staffs need training.
I’ve called in advance to check if they are busy, as we have a baby and needs to feed her and get back home early. The staff told me they are not too busy. Once we arrived and ordered, took more than 45 mins until they finally brought us the hotpot soup. The odd thing is people who arrived later than us received their food earlier than us. Sources and source serving bowl were not replenished, had to ask staffs again and again, and the source serving bowl were never replenished the whole time (2 hours and a half). Very slow service, we had to wait for typically over 10-20 mins for the next dish. No matter what we need (cutlery, or top up the hotpot soup), we had to ask again and again because the staffs always forgot it.
