Changing Seasons Cafe reviews
10Good coffee. Friendly staff. Very pleasant cafe set in retirement village but open to public. Relaxing atmosphere with nice decor and views over garden. Plenty of comfortable indoor seating. Outdoor seating provided under large umbrellas.
The best idea as part of aged care accommodation. Great views, well priced, comfortable chairs for the elderly and easy access for wheelchairs.
Stumbled upon this while looking fir something within walking distance of my house. Now that I work from home I miss the odd Cafe lunch so very happy to find this place. I git the Reuben Sandwich which was the November special and it was lovely! Packed with almost as much side salad as sandwich - a bonus as I would've been content with just the sandwich! And good coffee too (oat milk cappuccino)! I'll definitely wander back up to try the lemonade scones too! Thank you!
So happy I've found great coffee in this neighbourhood! The service was excellent as well. Will be back
Came here around 1pm on Saturday and there was only one occupied table with residence from the adjoining aged care home. There wasn't much food on display and I didn't feel like having hot food so I just had the lemon tartlet and flat white (medium size).
The two staff on duty were friendly but a bit unsure of what to do. I sat outside to enjoy the sun but since all tables were pushed to the shade, I had to drag tables and chairs but no one came out to help me. When they came out with my order they had a private conversation on doing something but then changed their mind. Don't hesitate to help even if I'm not one of the aged care residents. The tables were dusty so they could have offered to clean it.
Coffee was OK, too much froth for a flat white. Lemon tartlet was nice, the base was soft but bit crumbly, it broke apart easily when cut. The bill came up to $11, glad there was no surcharge for paying with EFTPOS and on a weekend.
I wouldn't return, felt quite unwelcomed since I wasn't a worker or a resident of the aged care home.
It's a small place in the neighborhood, so I went without expectations, but the food and coffee were excellent.
Hidden gem in bayswater, delicious food and super friendly staff. Had the brioche french toast and coffee, both up there with the best of cafes anywhere in Melbourne.
Ordered the BLT and scones with jam for lunch. The BLT was fresh and delicious. Scones were perfect! Great cafe with views of the Dandenongs.
The beef burger was amazing. It was a large burger but not too large it made it difficult to eat. The chips that came with the burger were also deliciously seasoned! Highly recommend this meal to anyone who likes burgers! They also let you choose option it with chicken instead of beef. I will be trying that next! The coffee was also great, nicely made Latte. Thanks Changing Seasons Cafe!
I don’t consider myself a “coffee snob” however I know what I like and what I don’t like.
I ordered a Jumbo Soy latte with 2 sugars and it was one of the best coffees I have ever had in my life.
I have travelled the world and drunk coffees in some of the most beautiful cities. Yet. I had to come to Changing Season for an amazing coffee. Temp was great. Taste was great. And the sugar was actually stirred through rather than left at the bottom for the last two diabetes sips.
Leanne needs a crown on her head for the life saving coffees she makes us nurses!
