Chandler Park reviews
11Toilets needed (or to be left open at the club) especially for kids who always want "to go" at the most inconvenient times. Otherwise a nice park.
Good place for kids to have fun. Play area, open space to ride bikes, run around and play basket ball.
It's a beautiful park with a wide oval, basketball/netball courts, and a playground nearby. Lots of people visit around the golden hour, and the atmosphere is especially nice around that time!
I've seen Shae van A'bell and Kenisha whatever her last name fight here and seen many people smoke b0ngs there (tom). Amazing place won't get this atmosphere anywhere else.
Met an interesting character on the oval at 3am but have visited many times in daylight and it's a fabulous place for some fresh air
Worst place for the basketball courts it is always crowded and hogged by certain people. The playground is fun but you will get really bored soon after arriving.
Great park with a little bit for everyone. Smooth netball courts good for the kids to ride bikes, scooters, rollerskates skateboards. Small playground. Basketball ring. Soccor net. Unfortunately the council put all these close together so it can get hectic and makes it dangerous when all are in use at the same time but better than nothing at all. Shaded BBQ area an oval.
Was waiting for the doctor around the corner and decided to walk laps of the oval! I hadn't been to the oval in so long its great to see they have upgraded the area.
Chandler park is walking distance from the Boronia railway station and located just off Chandler Road. It’s pretty good for a walk, run or walking your dog. It’s got a decent play area for children, undercover BBQ and a basketball facility as well. There is a walking track around the park for walking and running. Home to cricket in summer and footy in winter.
Unfortunately has gone down over last couple of months
Has Rubbish bins but no one uses them
Graffiti and a dumped couch
Basketball ring has no net so not good for shooting hoops
This park is always clean, quiet and is attached to a huge basketball/ netball court and an oval. There's quite a lot of garden areas surrounding the park and a decent fence around half of the playground. There's an undercover BBQ area with benches at the park and the equipment is new and well maintained. We have visited three times and are yet to see toilets. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. The park is relatively small too, I wouldn't hold a big birthday party here. It is wheelchair accessible, the entrence being at the playground end of the parking spaces.
