Champions IGA Heathcote reviews
43 IGA supermarkets are great and this is one of the best. I wish it wàs in my home town.
Such selection of different items, including pre made foods like sushi!
The staff were very friendly.
One of the best IGA’s in Victoria. For such a small town this is an awesome supermarket. Has everything you want, and the staff are friendly
Staff are mostly friendly. But wow! The stock is always low. Need to keep on top of use by dates. And things like yoghurt must not have been stored properly. Small Greek ones top was all puffed up, opened & curdled yuk! Strathvillage & Strathfieldsaye are very on top of stocked shelves & fresh produce. Compared to Heathcote. I'd rather drive there knowing I get a much better range & freshness. I gave two for staff.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Moving here from a city with multiple supermarkets most of the things I need I am able to source here.
Good parking also. Not to mention the ice cream part. Lotto and alcohol sections.
Has a good range of items, great deli selection, bakery section and delicious gelato but the store is very expensive with no competition in the town.
While in this store I was verbally assaulted by a employee with the name tag james, he said thing such as “faggot” “tranny “ “gay boy” I now no longer feel safe in this store and am very disappointed that iga would stand by these actions I’m discussing I’m sure this does not correlate with the store values. I will never be coming back
Plenty of variety.food in general, takeaway SHUSI, yummy Roast Chickens, Fresh Fruit & Vegs, variety of Bread & Baked goodies.
I was completely surprised to find such a good grocer out this way. The options were endless and the food was so fresh. 10/10
One of the better IGA's I've been to while touring the country, but little on the expensive side too over other IGA's can't blame inflation tho on alot of products,
Watch prices are charged correctly,
I've been overcharged on 4 items in 2 weeks when I returned only offered the difference from shelf price from actual price paid.
What a lovely supermarket with a wonderful selection of speciality foods and items that would make wonderful hampers and gifts! The meat is quality and reasonably priced, the fresh produce is top quality with a great selection and the service is always warm and friendly! This would have to be my favourite supermarket!
Yeah nah, renovated, looks pretty nice but limited variety odd lay out and expensive. Alright for must haves.
Way too expensive and the staff at the checkout are rude and arrogant rather shop at the tip the rats are friendlier
My experience here was wonderful. My husband often stops in on his way home to Echuca and I was with him one day last week. We had such a laugh with the 2 ladies at tattslotto that remembered his name and very knowledgeable with there jobs. They even managed to upsell gelati to us We will be back just based on the customer service alone.
Always go to the deli, great array of food for lunch, and the salads are always fresh, and the pies are the best.
The Long Gully store is excellent, in all respects. It has a better variety than the big brand stores. And it's fresh salads are second to nun, as well as there cheese section. And there staff are so polite and helpful.
Modern store with a good range of produce.
Has a Sushi bar as well and a great prelare pizza section. The Liquor department also has a good range of local wines in its own designated area
By far the Best IGA ive ever shopped in for a top range of wares at competive $, complimented with a Top Customer Service Focused Staff Team. Yes a pleasure to shop here.
They say Heathcotes full of druggos, judging by most of these reviews they clearly are as its the only way you could possibly like this store. Its all the basics they get wrong. I don't know if you know but that bakery bread they are selling comes frozen from China.most of there market fresh things are also from China. The fruit and vegetables are so overpriced and often lacking in quality and the specials are always junk food. The Champions group are a huge private group with upto 50 IGA around the country who also recieved investment from metcash (metcash supply the products to iga). This is one of the most blatant price gouging operations in the country. If you want an example of a good supermarket find an area where there are 2 different ones under the same roof. This place is simply terrible and like another commenter a convenience store at best.
